Your body is a temple

It deserves to be visited and worshiped. Wish I’d come up with that but I heard it on a Model show, one of the models said it. But Hey I think it applies to more than modeling.

Though for 5 days my body was a M & M dumping ground, no more of that though. I think I became possesed by something, like a chocolate fiend?  LOL

Got to watch some movies this weekend Righteous Kill(ok), The Univited(ok), neither bored me but neither made me go OH MY GOD. Tommorow Underworld Rise of the Lycans comes out, I love vampire movies and werewolves, hope it doesn’t suck too bad(pun intended)

Today was just cardio: 30min HIIT on rbike

45min ss on treadmill

NOt done one right after the other, the 1st fasted this morning, the second later in the afternoon. Today was nice here, in the 60s but windy so not so warm feeling but not too bad.

Got to practice baseball with the kiddo. I’m getting better pitching, nothing like my hubby but hey practice makes perfect.

So today food wise I’ve treated my body like a temple. I also bought Jillian Michaels Metabolism book and I’m looking forward to reading it.

Tommorow is legs and a doctor visit to get the iron level checked, hopefully I’m no longer anemic. I’ve had red meat several times this past week and spinach so hopefully that helps too.

Pumping iron

Externally and internally. Have to take iron for awhile to pump my red blood cells up. I’d eat liver every day if I’d never have to take iron again and I loathe liver. Heck I’d become a vampire to avoid ever having to take iron again. Or maybe I have a vampire visiting my house while I sleep and sucking out the iron from my blood.

Well enough about that, today my right hand balked when it came to working my chest but it survived it, I just reminded it that its part of me, and I’m a fighter baby, no bruised palm is holding me back.

5min stretching

20min HIIT on ellpictical. Left glute/ham area is doing great, right side still hurting, but getting better.

20min ss cardio on treadmill(remember I’m obsessed with my mileage increasing on my treadmill!)

Tara on Biggest Loser kicks butt, she had an extra 260lbs added to the car she had to pull and she still kicked everyone’s ass! Even the big old burly cousins(can you tell I don’t like them???)

That’s what I’m thinking this week, so switching up my workout schedule and what I do.

Today I did p90x Plyometrics which is 60minutes

And I also did CF WOD Cindy. I thought about doing Mary but was leary of how well I could do handstand pushups and I chickened out. Yes I’m a chicken, its no wonder with all the chicken I eat that I would start turning into one.

I’m eating Chicken of the Sea right now, though not actual chicken it has chicken in the name. LOL.

Last night my cave woman came out and devoured, yes I said devoured a big old ribeye at Tumbleweed. I think my waitress might have been a little scared when I cleaned my plate.

I could never be a vegetarrian I like meat too much, I believe I would go stark raving mad and would be chasing a cow thru the field if I tried to be a vegetarrian. I’d be the looney lady featured on the news, my own version of Mad Cows disease.

I’m amazed at the people who do go vegettarian, I believe I’d get tied of soy(eww) tofu(eww) and protein powder. But that’s just me. We have a friend who likes meat but he likes still mooing, nice and rare, I really don’t want to have to chase my food and rekill it, I like cooked and ready to go and just watching him eat sometimes makes me think of vampires.

So tommorow will be legs and depending on how I feel maybe some crossfit, I’m living it up.
