"Snap back to reality, Oh there goes gravity” or should I say belly bloat, but you know what it was so worth it! Its been let me see like 6 years since I stayed overnight with some girlfriends and just kicked back and had fun. Last time I did I went to Indiana to gamble on the riverboat with my girlfriends and my son was a baby, I think I was due.
I drove up Friday and stayed in my friends hotel room, slept on some cushions on the floor. Nothing like sharing one bathroom with 4 other women. I think I got maybe 3 hours of sleep, not because we were rowdy all night, the big thing that evening after eating at Max & Ermas was having some beer, yes I said beer back in the hotel room, but I’m a feather weight had only 2, now the other guests in the hotel had alot more judging by the noise they were making in the hallways.
Up bright and early to hit the Arnold. Had one friend competing, she looked great. I got tons of free stuff, even got a shirt where they were telling everyone to take their shirts off, no I did not take my shirt off, though my friend and I offered to, but they were afraid of what would happen since we had bras on underneath and not sports bras. Then I got 3 more, one of which my friend and I cut in line and she sweet talked the guy at the booth, it was the bodybuilding.com booth!
Then I got the pleasure of being less than a foot away from the ARnold himself as he walked around. He’s a lot shorter than what he appears in the movies, not that he’s short, just not as tall as I thought he was. Then more beer on Saturday, woohoo lived it up I had 3! Ate dinner with my friends and ate some chocolate cake(mainly the icing, I really don’t like cake, but I love, love, love icing) with a friend then headed home.
Sunday headed back up with my family but we got there very late in the day(hey I needed sleep after my rowdy girls weekend) stopped at Gameworks on the way home where we played this game strapped in these chairs that shoot up in the air, you’re steering your balloon around on screen and trying to pop your competitors balloons. My goal, to pop my dh’s ballon as much as possible, my son tried to get me but I was so focused on getting dh’s balloon he had a hard time. Final score: my son: 7, my dh: 132, me: 202!
So today:Snap back to reality, Oh there goes gravity

I like those lyrics, I used them to motivate myself today after my weekend off from workouts other than walking the Arnold, my feet hurt!
So when you take a couple days off and need motivation, just think:
You can do anything you set your mind to, man
Its all a mind game. The body is willing but sometimes the soul is week. So glad I made it thru today, figured if I didn’t workout today then my week would suck, now i’ve set a tone for the week and just need to follow thru.

that was the goal today when I worked legs, everything nice and parallel and controlled. First off its beautiful here, 65 degrees, though it feels like rain, I’m keeping my fingers crossed no more snow!
Today I did circuits
10min kicking Bob
sumo squats

w/standing leg curls

w/hanging knee ups

sumo deadlift

w/one legged ext

w/hanging oblique twists

butt squats
95×8x3
w/standing cable kickbacks

Also did 35min ss cardio in my fat suit on my treadmill. Its probably a good thing no one works out with me especially when I wear my fat suit, the sweat is flinging off of me, all over the place I can just imagine being at a gym and flinging sweat all over my cardio neighbors causing them to trip and fall on the treadmill.
I’ve also decided even if someone rings my doorbell while I"m on the treadmill in my fat suit, I’m not opening the door, can you imagine ringing my doorbell and here I am in my fat suit with sweat flinging off me as I move???
Ok I guess it depends on who is at the door and whether I like them or not. ROFLMAO
Waiting on my buffmom friends to give a jingle to let me know they are here in OHio. I can’t drive to Columbus to meet them though until my hubby is home to be with the kiddo. I’m so excited a girls weekend so to speak. I don’t do those to often, I feel like a high schooler waiting on someone to call and ask me to go to the dance with them.

Cruising the infommercials. That was me this morning. I’d dvr’d a channel trying to find my friends, alas it didn’t air when she thought it would. It just came out, its called Slim Chick Solution, if you’re a woman check out the website, you might just find the plan you’ve been looking for.
Anyhow enough tooting my friends horn. I saw BeachBody had a new one by Tony Horton, he does P90x(I love that program!) 10minute training. I resisted the urge to buy it, lol. Saw infommercials for steaming mops, and food processors. BAck when I could get up uber early on a regular basis(think before my basement got cold from winter and felt like 30 degrees) I was an infommercial junkie, loved watching them, alas there is hardly anything titilating on at 430am so its either them or some local praying shows and well praying shows wouldn’t motivate me to do my cardio, thus the infommercials
Yesterday ended up being a rest day besides cleaning the house and laundry because 1: I went with my Dad to his doctor’s appointment(thus 2 hours of my life sitting in a waiting room) and 2: I worked on trying to find a program that does everything my hubby wants for work, alas that was a bust and he’s picked one of the first 2 I recommended to him.
So today I did my chest/tri workout and cardio.

I hit GNC up today for something to help next month when my monthly friend arrives, otherwise known as Kermane bloats up anywhere from 5 to 9 pounds. Its lovely being a woman sometimes, yes i know its water weight and temporary but I hate feeling like Mrs. Puff from Spongebob. The guy who works there is doing a show next weekend in Kentucky. I could tell he bodybuilded, and darn if he isn’t a cute kid with his braces, he’s maybe 20 if he’s that old.
I could never do a show, I think I would go insane the final 2 weeks on the diet, I’d be the person you’d read about or hear about on the news "WOMAN IS ON TOP OF THE BELL TOWER WITH A RIFLE SHOOTING AT PEOPLE, KEEPS YELLING SHE WANTS SOME CHEESE!"
Thus for everyone’s safety it is probably best I dont, lol.

Not really company but the water guy and I had finished my workout, looking all sweaty, and grimey and smelly when ding dong. Now if I didn’t have a big old windown in my front room and had to cross thru that room to get to the hall I would have made a big dash for it. But he would’ve seen me.
So I sucked it up and opened the door looking my worse(it was leg day) smelling pretty bad and smiled "yes" he just stares at me(yes buddy I look bad but I just worked out) "can you put your dog in(at this point he kinda wrinkles his nose)" me "sure".
Slam the door. Let the dog in and run and hide. Made me wonder why some women insist on having perfect hair and make up on when they go to the gym. Do they not realize if they are working out right they are going to end up with raccoon eyes and stringy hair?? And if they don’t well they’re not doing it right.
Its like if your house is a pig sty, everyone you know will come and visit, but if you have a nice clean house, no company. I have 9 rooms in my house, I cleaned 6 today, wonder what my odds are I will have company??? Will it be a 1/3 of a person??
