One moment you’re raring to go the next….
Your kiddo gets a nasty stomach virus and sidelines workouts for a couple days. Its amazing how quick those things get the kids, he played football on Sunday, we went to the movies he was fine, and bam 1am, he’s a puking mess.
Fever, chills, aches, so he got to stay home for 2 days per the doctors orders and Mom had no workouts for 2 days. I have no energy in the evenings and when you add on the sleeping on his floor and waking up every time he did, uh duh, no wonder the energy was low.
He got to go back to school and Mom got a good nights rest and her workout in today. thus my miles are not as far advanced on my treadmill as I would like, but life throws you curveballs now and then
5min wu on treadmill
circuits:slds:125×6, 145×6, 166×6
w/wide lat pulldowns:50×6, 60×6, 70×6
w/hammer bench press:20×6, 23×6, 28×6
walking lunges(I loathe these)50×6, 70×6, 90×6
w/medium stance lat pulldowns:70×6, 80×6, 85×6
w/incline bench press:23×6, 28×6, 30.5×6
hamstring curls:60×6, 70×6, 80×6
w/narrow underhand lat pulldowns:90×6, 100×6, 110×6
5min cooldown on treadmill
Had to hit the grocery up since I normally go on Mondays and didn’t want to drag my sick kiddo out.
Came back and did 30min HITT on the treadmill, jogging and sprints
Tommorow I finish cleaning my house and hit my candy machines up and I’ll be back on schedule, knock on wood neither the hubby or I have gotten the stomach virus, yet.

I hope your son is feeling better. Poor kid.
Sweet black tea is really good for settling stomachs. (And keeping you hydrated.)
You still had a great workout.

All you can do in these situations is deal with it, and as soon as the crisis is over get back onto the routine and attack it. Sounds like you did that.
Nicely done!
Hope kiddo is doing better. It’s never fun being sick.
