What do you want to look like?

someone asked me that the other day. Uh….not like I currently do, I have this image in my head and that image has a far better ass than I do, and no jiggle in her thighs.

Now granted I probably look better than what I see when I look in the mirror, I immediately see the trouble spots and not the spots that say "LOOK at me, I’m all muscle here" Nope I see the jiggle spots, the spot where cellulite has deeply entrenched its roots refusing to let go even though I’m yanking at it with all my might to pull it away.

I think to me my body betrayed me, not so much because of what it looks like now, Hell I had a hand in putting that cellulite there, too much goodies not enough exercise once upon a time. But internally my body grew cells that had the potential to kill itself and that was the ultimate betrayal.

That’s hard to let go, some part of me always says "Who cares, one little cell can decide to go haywire and poof you’re dead". Thankfully I have realize that the more I do to keep my body in shape internally and externally the less likely that will happen.

Now to work on my self image and not to say "EWWW look at that spot, people must run in horror when they see that spot coming at them"

Or "EWWWW look how that still moves when it shouldn’t, how disgusted people must be when they see that" Truth is most people could care less, don’t go out of there way to look for cellulite, jiggle, wrinkles, fat rolls on other people they’re too busy worrying about how they themselves look.

But it was those trouble spots of mine that got me to do my cardio today on my treadmill and I did jog the whole time on the treadmill upping that mileage to 1138 miles, 1250 I will meet you before the end of the year and surpass you I swear!

I hear ya K, every time I look in the mirror I tell myself I am going to push harder next workout and the next, I WILL get better. Good job on the evil cardio, keep kicking butt.

Great job on the cardio Kermane! My "ewwwww" spot is my tummy and butt. I like almost every other part of my body, but those two areas refuse to tow the line and change as quickly as I want them to.

We’re all our own worst critics. I can’t stand having such a short torso & wide obliques. ANY amt of BF shows up there in the mid-section, first & foremost. Like y’all said…….use it for motivation.

Nope, couldn’t care less about those spots that you think jiggle too much. Yours is a fit package.

That is one of the all time great quotes.

Really, really laughing my f*cking a$$ off!

Like you and almost everyone else on this site, I don’t think I’m perfect and still strive for better. Whatever better is, that’s what I want.

    Keep killin’ it K.
