5 seconds can seem like forever

Especially when you’re hanging upside down, with your child shrieking as you both wait on the damn ride to move at the fair.  I think it was called the zipper? You get in a car(fits 2 people) they basically put a bar up against your legs, there are like 12 of these cars on this big wheel that spins and each car can go forwards or backwards as my son and I found out.

He was begging me to stop and I told him I was the one making the damn thing move, though I did finally figure out how to hold the brake on the car so we stopped spinning. Then the little kiddo who shrieked at me on that ride got off it and wanted to get on the kamikaze which is a boat that swings like a pendulum all the away around and damn if we were hanging upside down again for 5 second periods.

Anyhow life got in the way of my blogging last week, I did my workouts just fine, just felt like killing people on Mafia wars instead of blogging last week.

Today I did a full body workout:8minutes beating on Bob

circuits: free bar lunges: 70×6, 90×6, 110×6

w/narrow lat pulldowns:90×6, 110×6, 130×6(hard to stay on the seat)

w/db flat bench press:28×6,33×6, 35.5×6

circuit: hamstring curls:80×6, 90×6, 100×6

w/wide lat pulldowns:70×6, 90×6, 100×6

w/flat db flys:23×6, 28×6, 30.5×6

circuit: free bar squats:110×6, 130×6, 150×6

w/seated underhand rows:50×6, 70×6, 90×6

30min HITT on treadmill

My kiddo started flag football last week, had his first game yesterday, I was impressed with how he kept track of the ball, I had a hard time keeping track of it.

Good leg work Kermane…even better job on the rides. lol I just can’t or won’t handle them anymore.

I went on that ride (yes, it’s called the Zipper) one time and one time only! I didn’t know there was a brake on it to stop it spinning. That might have made that stupid ride a bit easier.

Lucky for my daredevil kids, my hubby loves rides like that, so he is now the one that takes them on all the crazy rides. :-)

Awesome workout. Kamakazie sounds brutal. I’m not much for hanging upside down…

I went on the Zipper (once!) too. Had no idea that it would spin forwards, backwards, sideways & diagonally, ALL AT THE SAME TIME (or so it seemed). Glad you didn’t end up with someone’s lunch all over you…..LOL.

Ditto on the workout. Great job.

I love roller coasters too, my kiddo is going to be tall enough by next summer to ride everything at Kings Island.
