ARGH! Frustration!

So I’m feeling frustrated today because it seems no matter what I do I can’t lose my tiny saddlebags on my legs, I call them saddlebags because they are both in the same area on each of my legs. I’m so frustrated, I know I can’t spot reduce and I know they have shrunken so much that I can now wear a size small, but damn if they don’t make me feel like crap.

I can be struttin in the pool in my bikini and walk by those damn mirror windows and my eye is drawn right to my trouble spots on my legs. They’re strong legs, they can squat 225lb, leg press 450, curl 85, knee ext: 175, but the area that bugs me the most refuses to improve.

I swear if I had the money I’d get the damn things lipo’d out. It’s too bad I can’t walk around with my hands hold the areas smooth, but that would look freaky.

Anyhow I’ve been working out, baseball kept me away from the computer, and this week getting into swim lessons with the kiddo, he’ll be able to do the butterfly, etc while all I can do is the back stroke, and front crawl, oh well.

Yesterday I worked legs, today I worked back:

20min HITT on ellpictical, varied resistance, level 30 incline

circuits: wide grip lat pulldowns: 85×8x3 w/bicep curls: 23×8x3

seated rows: 100×8x3 w/front lat raises: 20×8x3

narrow grip underhand lat pulldowns: 95×8x3 w/side raises: 15×8x3

20min ss cardio on my treadmill, various speeds.

I’m just so frustrated over my legs, I’ve tried various things, and I’m wondering if I just need more cardio, I do HITT until there are spots of sweat all over the floor and I’m breathing like a perv doing a dirty phone call, so I’m wondering if I need to do it weighted with my weight vest

 

@@@****##### DAMN stupid fat deposits, any ideas to help with my problem area, I currently do legs 2x a week.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Kermane………It’s pretty simple. Not easy, but simple. Diet, diet, diet. STRICT self-discipline to eat clean & have only a few PLANNED cheats. That’s what I’ve really learned the past 2 mths. I’ve dropped 7-8 lbs since early May. The only major difference in that time is the diet.

    I know……shut up Al. Not what ya wanted to hear.

    wish it was the diet, I’m so uber clean except on my cheat on Friday I squeek most times on my worse weeks I’m only 85% clean, the rest of the time I’m like 95% clean, though I think I need to change my percents for carbs, seems like when I have rice, quinoa or oatmeal I get all puffy.

    So I’ll tweak it even more and see what happens, thanks!

    Yep, more carbs have been way down during these 2 mths, esp after 5pm. I hope the tweaks gets you the results.

    "and I’m breathing like a perv doing a dirty phone call" may be the best line I’ve read in quite a while. do you mind if I borrow that? I feel your pain wit h having a problem area. Every time i do my BF% I have one spot that always stays the same. I’m going to reduce my carbs, ala Al, and see if that helps. Good luck.
