It’s a game, its for fun!
That’s what I wanted to yell at the a**hole coach on the other team. He was foaming at the mouth shrieking and cussing at the ump who was 13 years old. I wanted to go down there and kick his a$$.
People like that ruin it for the kids. Then we have one woman on our side who claps every time a kid on the other side strikes out, and sees nothing wrong with that. Just takes me back to growing up by the little league park and how insane some parents can get.
It was hot here today. My kiddo is still struggling with hitting from a pitching machine but he has a wicked arm when it comes to throwing the ball in, all 3 balls that came his way he scooped up and threw in great.
Did get my workout in today
5min wu on my treadmill
circuits: wide lat pulldowns: 70×8x3 w/standing db hammer curls: 15×8x3
seated rows: 95×8x3 w/standing db curls: 20×8x3
upright rows: 45×8x3 w/curls with arms out like a t: 10×8x3(will up next time)
20min HIIT On rbike
11min ss cardio on my treadmill in my fat suit. 2 more ball games this week, then one regular one next week, then tournaments 4th of July weekend, then nothing! Lots of swimming and working on my tan with my kiddo.

Oh boy…. I can totally relate to the frustrations around softball/baseball. My daughter has a HORRIBLE coach who has had exactly TWO practices the whole season (today was the kids last game… now playoffs start). Then she bitches at the kids for not sliding into home. Ummmmm… in order for the kids to slide, they have to LEARN HOW TO and practice it! Grrrrrrrrr On the flip side, we have some horrible parents who coach from the benches and get the players confused. I could just pull my hair out most of the time!
I’m gonna stop now because I could go on for pages and pages with my gripes on this subject! lol

Its sad that adults act that way, and I could rant about it for a long time too.

Holy sh*t, calm down dude! Some people take things WAY too serious!
I can picture this coach slobbering at the mouth with spit flying with everything he screams!

My sons last little league game (5 years ago) involved the opposing coach chest bumping a teenage kid who called his son out looking at strike three.
Really doing a great job teaching our kids how to be respectful and sportsman like.

Ah, crazy ass parents. **** ‘em!

Exactly, looked like a loon with spit flying everywhere and yep really showing the kids how to be good sportsman.
Crazy ass is right.

Not cool, not cool at all. But hey, I see the same thing at work, with some "leaders" doing the opposite of "leading." For some reason they just don’t get that being positive will get them (and those following them) farther.
I’ve got to ask though - what the heck is a "fat suit?"

I used to coach Little league and also Umpired girls softball and I’ve seen it all. You are exactly right. These kids are out there to learn the fundimentals of a fantastic game and have a good time doing it. These adults who try to live their lost dreams of superstardom through their kids are idiots!

There is a coach in our LL that is in a tussle with a bunch of parents and other coaches. Some people just aren’t meant to work with kids, that’s for sure.

my fat suit is my rubber suit my friend gave me, I call it my fat suit because it makes me sweat so much that I hope its fat I’m sweating, lol.
Bryan-I bet you have seen it. Sometimes adults take the fun out of it for kiddos.
Shannon-I couldn’t agree more.
