I am seriously thinking I need new friends
well not new friends completely, just some friends who like to dance. None of my friends do, irregardless how liquored up they might get either.
I on the other hand like to shake my money maker to quote the black crowes. I realized I"m back to feeling like me yesterday at a wedding of a friend. I was watching the bride get down with her friends, and I’m dancing in my seat. I so wanted to dance but I didn’t want to be out there by myself and look like some hanger on. You know the person no one is dancing with and looks lost in their own world.
The friend is really a son of my husbands friend, so besides my husband his friend, his son, bride and my husbands friend sister I knew no one else there. And its always more fun to act silly with a bud. A girl dancing by herself invites the unwanted attention of men sometimes, and several of the men there were feeling no pain thanks to their friends Bud and Coors.
My abscess is gone, along with it the staph infection that caused it, I don’t think I mentioned in the other blog it was a staph infection, just glad they caught it early, scary what could’ve happened if they hadn’t.
So anyhow I’m looking forward to working out tommorow, I feel rested and like me. Also I’m wondering if there’s a website PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO DANCE LOOKING FOR FRIENDS WHO LIKE TO DANCE.
Dancing is so liberating and freeing and I think alot of people are scared of being judged while doing it, myself included thus the reason I didn’t get out and dance by myself. Wait isn’t that a song by Billy Idol? Dancing with myself or something.

This is a stupid question, but why didn’t you dance with the husband or his friend?
Yay, abscess is gone.
Dancing is okay for short periods. If the husband is like me, then I know why you didn’t dance with him, but my wife always drags me out on the floor for a while.

Oh Kermane, I wish, wish, wish we lived closer together! I LOVE to dance!!! Actually, it’s more than a love, it’s more like a need. If I don’t dance, I get cranky! Seriously. I am actually one of those pathetic people that will dance all by myself if no one will go out with me on the dance floor. I don’t care… I just wanna dance! lol However, I agree about the unwanted attention that can sometimes bring. Grrrrrrrrr! If I wanted to dance with someone, then I would ask them to dance. If I’m by myself, then it’s because I want to be! I usually just give them my superpower death look and they scurry away. I know, I know.. I’m evil.
I’m glad you are better and they found the staph infection early!!

haha! If theres not a site like that, why not create one? I tend to only dance to cumbia’s and salsa, n only when I’ve had a few…lol

I wish I lived closer to you! I have been wanting to dance for ages!! The last time I danced was at my work’s Christmas function. Waaay too long ago!
I love dancing. When I visit the States, I’ll look you up!

I’m one of those guys whose wife had to drag me out to the floor to dance. I’m not sure if it’s just that I’m shy, or a bad dancer (which I am), or that I’m out of shape. I suppose the type of dancing changes things too. But for me, even more than a few drinks isn’t enough, I still had to be dragged out there.
Been there with the MRSA infection myself more than a few times. Only one of them in a "just shy of death" location though. Very glad yours is healing up!

Glad to hear that your leg has healed without any more issues. I’m not much of a dancer, but I can do the white man’s overbite like a champ….

veronique-That would be cool
Kev-I think alot of guys are like that when it comes to dancing. MRSA sucks, plain and simple.
