One tiny issue turned out to be a big one
Last week I mentioned my abscess on my leg, which unfortunately flared up majorly and painfully so much it had to be drained yet again and this time packed with steri strips.
Its amazing that something that started out small, grew in 4x its size within days. I’ve been going to the doctor several times getting it checked finally today good news its on the mend officially. I’m so relieved otherwise surgery was in my future.
So needless to say last week I ended up bombing on my clean eats, either too little food because the pain was just too bad to eat, or the wrong kind of food. I think I’ve become a germaphob now after all this, constantly checking my son for abscesses, antibacterial soap in every room.
Last workout was Thursday and to be honest I did that thru some pain, tried toughing it out thinking I was being a big old baby, so I’ve not worked out since well the nasty abscess shrinks.
Haven’t been able to sit for long periods in my office, thus I haven’t been able to check on peoples blogs, hope your holiday weekend was a good one.
One more doctor appointment next week and as long as it keeps healing like it has since Friday no surgery! I’m glad its healing, the idea of any more surgery on my body sickens me.

That is good news K, never had to deal with anything like that but it sure doen’t sound pleasent. Don’t worry about the workouts and eats, I know you will be back on track. Take care.

Ditto with Steve. When I’m sick my diet flies out the window. When I feel like crap, I don’t care, so I eat crap. Get all healed up…….because as The Terminator, I know you’re just dying to say "I’ll be back".

PS: If I eat any s’mores at this weekend’s campout, you can terminate me. I will NOT eat them. Other goodies, however, we’ll just see.

I’m with Al. I, too, am a crap eater when I am sick. However, over the weekend I ate crap and started getting sick?! I REALLy need to rethink this one.
I hope your leg starts feeling better soon
. Use this time to write out a plan of action for your diet and training.
