You know you’re an addict

When you start going thru withdrawals. In my case workouts. Ended up having to have an abscess drained on my leg, no workouts Monday or Tuesday which to be honest was probably best, Monday even the simple act of walking was painful. Along with the pain I kept thinking, man I should be working out, yep I’m a workout addict.

Today I did a light workout, walking is still not up to normal but far better than Monday. I’ve never had an abscess before and apparently mine is stubborn, hoping by Friday it will not be so painful. Otherwise back to the doctor.

So today, no real cardio, couldn’t do my rbike, sitting down on a hard surface hits the darn thing just right, thus pain.

5min wu on treadmill(side note I hit 1000 miles on Friday when I did my workout I was just so busy I didn’t blog that day)

one arm db rows: 23×35x3

military press/seated: 15×35x3

hammer curls: 15×35x3

Did each set as a big old circuit and in between each set I walked for 5min on my treadmill, so 20minutes all together on the treadmill.

Been taking the kiddo to the batting cages this week. He can hit fine if you pitch to him but the pitching machine he can’t, mainly I think its fear, so hopefully he’ll get over that fear the more we go to the batting cages.

83 degrees here, beautiful!!!!

Well good job getting some upper body work in Kermane. Hope that leg heals up quickly. Has the Chocolate Monster been banished? Or are you still downing the M&M’s?

Nice job K, hope that legs gets better soon. The batting cages over and over should give your boy the confidence he needs. Take care.

  9. Stryka Says:

You are only an addict when you admit theres a problem.

I don’t see any problems with an obsessive compulsion to train :)

Hi, I’m Kev, I like … err, well, I’m addicted to working out…. At least I HOPE I am.

    Kermane, I feel your pain.

I start missing the gym on the drive home…from the gym.

I don’t need no stinking 12 step program! I can control it.
