Did you have anything to eat today?
Uh no, the paperwork for this damn test said no eating or drinking. "did you have anything to drink?" Uh hello did you not listen to what I said? No eating or drinking.
"please drink this, it might taste slightly unpleasant" Uh ok…gag….cough… slightly? "here drink this, it might make you want to burp" as opposed to the other stuff that made me want to puke?? "good, good" Now I just need you to drink these 2 containers of stuff.(think chalk ground up and water added) and I’d like you to drink these(both 16oz) in the next 10minutes.
And that is how my test went today. As I’ve been going thru these tests to figure out my anemia, I’ve changed what I ask God from "please let me be ok" to "Hi God, its me again, if you could just let them finally give me an answer for my iron issues I’d be thrilled" Figure he heard enough from me 4 1/2 years ago going thru my cancer treatment begging with him.
So as I layed there for my tests of course my cold says "hi, I’m still here" and I hack out my lung so to speak, one of the people there ask "Do you have a cold?" Lets see the violent hacking cough, uh there’s your sign.
Got my cardio in 30min HIIT on my rbike
As much as I loathe the idea because to be brutally honest I go out of my way to not go to the doctor when I’m sick, because I’ve basically have had enough with doctors visits these last 4 1/2 years, I’m think that if I’m not breathing out of my nose my Thursday its back to the doctor.
I also went for a blood test today checking for Celiac I believe, so the week prior bread, and pasta which I avoid were in my diet, apparently by avoiding it if I do have Celiac no antibodies will really show.
I was going to have a snack of carrots and peanut butter but uh after reading Shannon’s blog from a couple days ago I think it will be celery and pb.

"slightly unpleasant" LOL Yeah, that’s the fun stuff. Hope your tests give you good answers.

Yeah, if Shannon does enough of those posts, she could make so we’d all go into gag reflex on any food that’s not on a clean diet menu. (Note to Shannon: That’s really not necessary though…..)
I’m most impressed: You got in HIIT while coughing & hacking? I hope The Terminator feels better soon & those Dr’s give you some answers. Not knowing sucks too.

Having had to drink all of those vile concoctions myself during tests I can totally relate to how you felt gagging them down. I honestly had to hold my nose in order to get those drinks down. But they made me drink FOUR of the 16 oz ones. And then when you have to pee so bad you think you are going to explode they take you back to the room and take their sweet old time getting the damn IV started and then go off for a four hour lunch break all while you are laying freezing your ass off on the table and trying not to pee yourself… and… uh, oops… sorry Kermane… I got a little carried away in my response.
I hated those damn tests!!!
I hope you’re feeling better soon!! And it’s GREAT to have you back!!
I missed you!

The Terminator can never be stopped, slowed down some but never stopped!
Kimberly-thankfully they gave me a robe otherwise my "ass"ets would’ve been hanging out.
