Seems I live by that motto. I try hard at everything I do. Sometimes to the point I amaze myself. That alone should make me proud.
Yet I hear that voice "you can do better, you can be better" and I strive to reach a point even further away, to reach that better point. Thing is being a human I’m always going to have the opportunity to be better.
No one is perfect, though I’ve seen some people on here I think look perfect, I’m sure they themselves feel they can be better.
So that’s probably why I felt down there for a couple days. I’d really pushed myself, did awesome and didn’t quite reach the point I wanted and I spiraled down. Today I am back to myself.
I realize that even though I didn’t reach that point it is not the end of the world. There are other points out there for me to reach. Thus tommorow I start Spring Cleaning.
Myself that is. The first day of spring is March 20th, I’m starting my spring cleaning December 14th thru March 21st, minus Christmas and New Years. I’m being realistic I realize that I might have something sweet to eat on those 2 days and don’t want to feel horrible about it because I will jump right back on the wagon.
Today was just cardio. Doing my best to beat my ellpictical into submission, but darn if it isn’t a tough cookie, it can dish out the pain just as good as me. So that was a good 40minutes of sweat, 20minutes of HIIT, and 20minutes of steady state.
So I’m hoping that when my deadline rolls around I will be more than ready for swim suit season.

Mine are strong, I just need them to show that at first glance. They are a work in progress. I want legs that when you look at them you go "whoa! She could kick my arse with those legs"
so I work on them. Though my day started out down, I got my workout in and it helped lift my spirits.
wu 10min on treadmill

30×8
35×8
40×8
Did kneeups in between each circuit, sets of 20 to front, 5 to each side
6min cooldown.
I wish there was such a thing as spot reducing because my legs and glutes are where I would spot reduce, alas I must trudge along and except the fact its a slow process.
I ended my workout seeing how far I could kick my boxing dummy Bob. I better hope he never comes to life because I have a feeling he would try and kill me, for all the abuse I put on him.

I read with envy everyone who says they see changes in themselves when they look in a mirror, I still see myself at my heaviest. Thank God for pictures without them I wouldn’t notice any changes. So I highly recommend taking pictures especially if you are like me and the mirror lies in a bad way to you.
Got my workout done early to head off to see my child’s Christmas play. All the kids are too cute dressed up.
This was done fasted which I don’t recommend when lifting but sometimes you got to do what you got to do to get it done.

I’d love to, maybe then running wouldn’t seem like so much of a chore. As I run away on my treadmill I always think that I am being tortured, lol. I’m the person Jillian Michaels would yell at on Biggest Loser to get my hands off the treadmill.
I’ll be honest there are times I grab the thing, more so just to keep my arse on the damn thing, than being lazy because I have this voice screaming "OMG get off the treadmill" in my head. So I trudge along on it, I’m getting better when I first started trying jogging/running I’d stop to breathe, eventually I’d just hold on, now I hold on about 10 to 15% of the time, which is far better than when I started. So yes Jillian Michaels would be screaming and cussing at me at least 10 to 15% of the time while I was on it.
It’s rainy and dreary here but I did workout. I have an old injury to my right shoulder from a car wreck I had as a teen which caused me some issues since it was chest/tri day. But I pulled thru the pain and got it done. Rain causes my bursitis in my injury to flare up.
Anyhow I did

Also did 25min cardio on treadmill, various jogging speeds: 4.5mph to 6.5mph
20min HIIT on rbike.
I’ve been procrasinating sending out my Christmas Cards, but they will be out this week.
Another thing about Biggest Loser, I’m stoked that Michelle made it to the final 3, I’m hoping she wins it.

That is what the headline could have read yesterday. I was having one of those days. You know where you feel you do nothing right? No matter what you do its not coming out the way you want it to.
I swear if someone had walked by me with chocolate in their hand I would’ve mugged them. If they had put up a struggle then I would’ve murdered them for their chocolate.
Today has been far better. Not beating up on myself too bad today plus I worked my favorite body part Legs, and I beat the He** out of "Bob".

Today I worked my back. I have a chinup bar in my door. Went to do some chinups and one end of the bar came dislodged and I went flying backward. See, this is why I work out at home. Of course I laughed at myself, but if anyone had seen me at that moment do it, I would’ve been so embarrassed.
Who better to laugh at myself than me.
Anyhow I did work my back and bi’s

Then I hit the grocery. Its sad that healthy food is so more expensive while processed food is so cheap but I loaded up on healthy food.
Tonight I sign about 55 Christmas cards, tommorow they go out in the mail. Tommorow is leg day my favorite and I plan on beating up my "Bob" in between sets.

That was the goal yesterday with my workout and it went well. Its my last frontier, the glutes and the legs but they are getting there.
I did squats 4 sets
leg presses 4 sets
rdls 3 sets
calf raises 4 sets
smith lunges 3 sets
leg extensions 4 sets
hamstring curls 4 sets
and worked the abs too.
I should go out and trudge in the snow today burn some extra calories but man I hate snow, despise it with a passion. Just something about winter makes me not want to do any cardio but I still do it, just complain the whole time while doing it.
Its a necessary evil for me, if I don’t do some form of it then I feel squishy, probably just in my mind. Finally got a recent picture posted, I can see major changes. Its strange I can look in the mirror and see no changes but its hard not to see changes when you compare photos, so I’m stoked.
