2 and a half weeks away from the gym was not a good idea, still pushing the same weight but really sore afterwords. but at least i didnt gain 10 pounds like last time i went home on leave.
still trying to get down to 170, been having to many set backs though. i cant get mentally focused for some reason, i keep letting my self give up when it gets tuff. just have to keep pushing forward i guess. i’ll get there eventually.

had a good chest workout today, i maxed out before starting my routine, my max is still at 250, i dont trust the online calculators anymore, because i can bench 185 14 times, and the one rep max that it says i should have for that is 270. so that was a bit of a let down. finally got below 180 for my body weight though. so thats good, only 10 more pounds to go. but overall it was a good workout today. still have a lot to go to reach my goal

starting tomorrow i’m gonna be hitting the gym twice a day. in the morning before work and in the afternoon when i get out of work. i still need to lose about 10 pounds to hit my goal so in the morning i’ll be doing strictly cardio and abs and in the afternoon session will be my regular workouts with cardio just following the workout.
i dont know about you but to me thats taking it to the next level, its doing whatever i can to reach my goal. im excited to see how i progress from doing this. hopefully it works out.

the workout schedule that i usually do is day 1. chest/bi’s 2. legs 3. back/tri’s 4. shoulders. with cardio at the end of each day. i’ve been told by a few people that that is a good schedule and i have been told that i should not do my workouts like that. i am just looking for some advice on if it looks like a good schedule or if i should be doing it in a different order or different body parts on certain days
thanks

Cant go to the gym today, because its snowing. apparently the people of North Carolina don’t know how to act when it snows so, everything on base is shut down. i am extremely pissed off. when i say everything, i mean EVERYTHING!!!
hopefully the snow doesnt last long so they will re-open the gym. this is driving me crazy i dont know what to do with myself, this is definetly a set back to me.

im really disappointed with myself for being lazy during the holidays, i have a lot of work to do to get back to where i was, its amazing how much you lose after two weeks of being lazy, all my hard work from the past four months pretty much got flushed down the toilet. i’ll tell you what though, i’ll never let that happen again. its kinda depressing looking at the photo taken only four days before i went home for the holidays and what i look like now, alcohol is one of the ultimate killers to progress made in the gym..
determined to get back to where i was by february….
