Well, I survived the surgery and I’m doing well considering everything that happenedd since.  The day of the surgery we had one of the worst snow storms of the year and most highways and freeways were closed down….some kids were even trapped at their schools until nightfall while crews tried to open the roads.

Then, that night, I checked my daughter’s spider bite to find red stripes going up her leg.  I took her to the doctor and got her started on some antibiotics.

Two nights after that, my mom started complaining of being sick and then she said her chest hurt and she was having trouble breathing.  I took her to the emergency room and was told somewhere around 2 am that she had a heart attack.  They put her in an ambulance and took her to a different hospital that has a cardiac unit.  I followed her and got her tucked into her room and spent the next few days practically living in her room with her.  Her angiogram showed minimal damage (thank goodness!)  She finally came home today and she’s doing great.  Next time I have surgery, I better pick a better day….or just not have surgery ever again!!

I have to have surgery tomorrow to remove my appendix and two large ovarian cysts.  I hope I will still be able to attend the Arnold the end of this month.  I’m also upset about the fact that I was supposed to do a shoot with Natural Muscle Magazine for their cover while I was in Ohio….I’m really bummed.  I just hope the healing process goes well and everything will be fine towards the end of the month.  (Hey, at least I finally be out of pain…)
