I won the B class at the Jr Cal’s and I took home a 3rd in master’s.  Yeah!!

Lonnie’s show is such a great show…..and this year it was the biggest, yet.  Competition was tougher, but the girls back stage were all friendly and helpful.  It was a positive feeling throughout the whole show.

I can see I still need to put on some serious muscle before I set my sights too high.  This will be hard due to the fact that I’ve been diagnosed with a sports hernia.  I’m supposed to stop lifting and training completely…..uhmmm….I can’t do that

I want to plan the rest of the season, but I guess that will come after I talk to my doctor.

So I did it!  I quit working as a personal trainer and I’m only working on me!  Today was my first day without clients plus I’m in a new gym now.  After working two jobs, competing, and raising a 5 year old, I decided enough was enough!  It was taking its toll on me, my daughter, and my competitive goals. 

I also moved during the last month and I’m still trying to adjust with that.  I don’t have all of my stuff yet, but things are actually better for me.  The move has cut off around an hour of drive time each day!  Yeah!!!

All in all, I think all these major changes are going to be very positive for me.  I’m already feeling better and looking forward to the Jr. Cal’s!
