Ok… I think I have it. I was told that you need 1 gram of protein for every 1 pound of body weight. So I constructed a meal plan to reach that goal. I weigh 277 lbs so I need 277 grams of protein. So here it is…
Meal 1: 7 a.m. 1/2 cup grits (uncooked) + 4 lg egg whites
Snack: 9:30 1 can tuna + 1 Fruit (apple : granny smith)
Meal 2: 12 noon 1 Turkey patty + 1/2 cup pinto beans + 1/2 cup corn
Snack: 2:30 p.m. 1 can tuna + 1/2 cup cut green beans
Meal 3: 5:00 p.m. 2 turkey patties + 1/2 cup pinto beans + 1/2 cup corn
Snack: 7:00 p.m. Pre-workout 20 oz. Monster Milk + Flaxseed Oil (Gross taste)
Meal 4: 9:00 p.m. Post workout 20 oz. Monster Milk + 1 can tuna
Protein= 286g; Fiber= 39g; Carbs= 199g; Calories= 2,340
I am a little worried about the calories. Well there is my first time creating a meal plan. If it is wrong. Let me know, because I have to get this nutrition down. My workout routine is great…. I think. Cardio is lacking (because it is so boring), I know…. I know…. I have to do it, too! Let me know what you think.
