Wow! I am on the 5th day of my fast and feeling great! It’s Friday, January 16th and I have not had a crumb since Sunday, January 12. I have consumed nothing but water (100% Grape, Orange, Apple Juice, Tea ocassionally) ever since then. I feel like I have pushed the RESET button on my body. Although I will not step on the scale until tomorrow, since my fast will end on Sunday, January 19th, I can feel the weight loss. My clothes fit a little loose and I can see the difference in the mirror. I have done no weight training or cardio this week to let a few boo-boos heal. I am looking forward to some intense cardio on Sunday and starting a very clean eating regiment when I come off the fast. I will be back in the weight room Monday morning training like a maniac!

Congrats, stay strong you are almost there. I did a 10 day fast back a year or so ago. the first couple days were the worst, but after that it got much easier.

Thanks J! So far this week I had to endure a potluck at work, prepare dinner for my family twice, & work the concession stand at my son’s basketball game. I have to admit I was tempted, but I have my eye on the prize! Fasting is not easy, but it is worth it spiritually and physically.
