how to find a training partner??
I often wonder if I might make more progress if I had some one to help me crank out that last rep I always stick on. I also wonder if with out a partner will I even be able to accomplish my goals. It gets so hard sometimes to go to the gym night after night and only get so far. I am dedicated though. No matter how I feel I get my ass there, I can be exahusted ,depressed, STRESSED to the max and a big part of me just wants to go to bed….but I presevere. I go….I sweat…I lift…I leave. Man I wish I had a partner to work out with.

Partners can really help motivate, but they can also hold us back by not showing up or being late or by bringing non-gym problems with them. I "fuel" myself, get a lot out of seeing others working at my gym, and do admit to having a few contacts I reach out to now and then. Again, wish you were local!

p.s.- As for how to get a partner, how ’bout looking for familiar faces (peeps who always seem to be there when you are), pinpointing which of these seems to workout in a style similar to yours, then going up and introducing yourself?
