Starting point
January 10, 2007I’ve started finally. Using BFL as my guide and motivation. I’ve read a lot about it on here and people have suggested it for those starting out. Even though the exercise is managing my daily stress pretty well, I still feel like I’m about to pop a vein trying to get the kids out the door to school every day. Such a small worry, but sometimes I just can’t wait for them to go so I can start a workout. At my beginners level it is just a workout, not training. Once I have my technique spot on and I can feel like I have a good routine then I will be able to change that. I’m not slacking off, I just want to be sure I have good information, a good technique so I don’t hurt myself and be aware of my limits so I know when to push harder and when to back off. All that seems to come with time and education. So right now I am concentrating mainly on my arms, back and shoulders. I realise I have terrible upper body strength I and will need to work extra hard on those areas. The last thing I want is tuck-shop lady arms. But, it’s a starting point.
