Workout Partner…..Friend or Foe?

September 13, 2006

I guess that this is a question that is actually a statement in itself.  I have done both::worked out with a partner and without::..with varied levels of success.  Some partners can actually motivate and stimulate growth while choosing the wrong partner can SEVERELY hinder growth.  I think that sub conciously sooner or later you find yourself competiting with the partner rather than competing with yoruself.  If you are weaker than your partner::.sometimes you push too hard and don’t train right with proper form.  If you are the stronger partner:::.you don’t push yourself hard enuff::::quite a quandry:::..

Where it comes from.

Some times I sit and wonder where I find the energy to get it done.  Cardio is hands down the most non glorious aspect of gym time but yet it yields sooooooooooooo many benefits.
