I Need To Get My Act Together.

I know I’ve been working a lot of hours and really haven’t had the time to work out but I have got to do something.  I need to find the time to somehow get my butt back in the damn gym.  It’s actually a wonder I don’t weigh 500 lbs as my eating habits are crap.  Working those kind of hours I’ve been grabbing a lot of fast food or I go long periods of time without eating and then when I get a chance to eat I chow down like a pig.  God it would be nice if I could walk past a damn bag of chips without stopping to eat half of it.  LOL!!  I guess a little more planning on my part would be helpful.  I have been packing a healthy lunch as of late but I’ve been working a 12 hour day so to pack enough healthy food to cover that kind of day I’d have to have a lunch box like Fred Flintstone.  LMAO.  I’m determined though to work something out.  I’m tired of looking like I do.  Hope everyone has a great week.

    Its hard to eat right when your feeling run down or are working crazy hours! This is when if you can find away to stick to the six small meals every 3 hours…it will help your blood sugars to stay even so there will hopefully be less cravings. Its just an idea…and I honestly do know how hard it can be to eat right when your always on the fly!

    Right now with competition so close i’m packing all my food with me! That way there is less room for error! Dont let it get you down! Just try to get back at it a.s.a.p!!

    Take protein powder with you so you can have a protein shake about 2 ½ to 3 hours after your last “chewable” meal.
    Try to stay away from protein bars, as they are full of high fat and sugar.
    I take a can of water packed tuna and a glad bag with some salad greens and mix the two for a tuna salad. Cold chicken breast and some veggies.
    You can get away with bringing quite a bit to work before you are in the same league as Freddie Flintsone.

    It sounds like you’ve identified the problem, now it’s just time to figure out the solution (I know, easier said than done given your schedule!). Captain Ahab and Storm have great suggestions… I hope your hours lessen somewhat so you can have some "Sammi" time!!

    P.S. And I think you look fantastic!!

    Man diet is the hardest thing to get under control especially when you don’t have a lot of time to eat. Have you considered meal replacement shakes??

    Hey girl my new solution is protein mix in a snack size bag as well as those little tuna things in cans that are flavored like tai tuna and sundried tomato I eat all the tuna from 2 pkgs and only one set of crackers.. would be better off to buy some wheat crackers but this is better than the other option.. pizza hut.. been doing well the last 4 days.. hope to continue.. can feel the bloat going down one day at a time.. :) put your mind to it and take a flinstone lunch if it means you become one hot lady.. who knows who you may inspire.. :)

    You can find some decent sized lunch "bags" at Target or Walmart for cheap. Mine has become my new purse LOL And cooking your meals for the week on Sunday and having them ready to go in the fridge makes packing them and eating right so much easier. Hope you figure out something that works for you :)
