I am currently in Washington, D.C. for something that I thought I would never see in my lifetime. It is the election of a African-American president. He is someone that I as a black man can look to as a role model. He has married a strong African-American woman and taken care of his family. In the face of adversity, he has stood with his head-up and pressed on. O-mazing....I just hope, on a smaller scale, that I can become as great a man as Barack Obama truly is. My prayers are with him as he carries the country on his shoulders.......Thank God for him. I know this is a blog about working out, but I had to make some social commentary.
