FAME Nationals Oct. 18th Calgary
I competed yesterday and came in 5th place in the Fitness model open tall class. I am very proud of this as there were 18 competitors and most were much younger than me. Annette Milbers (judge) approach me after the competition and said I place top 1-2 in the theme wear round! She also said I have the whole package; posing, feminine, muscle balance, leanness, and would not be able to tell me anything to improve upon. WOW! Annette said the number 1-5 didn’t represent anything and that because I was competing against women almost half my age or 15 years younger that I shouldn’t even care about where I placed in the top five. This made the whole competition worthwhile for me. I am not sure where I am going to go with the whole fitness thing in the future, but I am very proud of what I accomplished this weekend! Peace. J~

Great job on your competition. U do look awesome. I too, agree with Annette u have a very good balance of muscle & curves. I dont think u can get much sexyer than that. I think u should keep training & entering shows u will do well. U have a very long & lean frame, so i dont think u would ever get to big & bulky. But of luck to u. Bob

Wow….good for you!!! Great job competing in the first place, let alone doing so well…Further proof that you (anyone) can be anything you want to be. Congrats..

Congrats lovely Julia! I’m so glad it went well for you. You should be very proud. Always remember that you are doing this for you because fitness makes you feel good on the inside. The fact that it makes you look great on the outside is just bonus ! (hope that makes sense!).
