Life change

Today I picked up two books. The Art of War by Sun Tzu and Living on Live Food by Alissa Cohen. Since February 8th Iv’e been trying to change the way I lived. I used to drink alcohol Monday thru Saturday. Some times upwards of 20 beers a day. I used to do recreational drugs here and there, and have one night stands amist my drunken stupor. I was tired of killing myself and wanted to actually start living. I started off by no more drugs, glass of a wine a night, no more sex till marriage,  and off and on a lacto-ovo vegetarian and lacto vegetarian. After watching A Peaceful Warrior from the book written by Dan Millman I also gave up watching TV. I do sometimes mess up here and there. I gave up drinking alltogether finally but after seven months of sobriety I had five beers at beerfest. It was good to feel like one of the guys again. I still go out to bars with my friends and it is hard feeling like you fit in when your goals don’t match theirs. I am definitely excited about Living on Live Food. I read many spiritual/biblical texts and it supports what some say how man was originally meant to eat fruits nuts and seeds. Art of War should also be very useful in my emerging career and other aspects of life. So far what Iv’e learned from raw food is that the enzymes that are consumed and not broken down from cooking can definitely do wonders for your look, energy, etc. Cheers!!!
