So after eating like I didn’t have a clue in Charlotte, I come back home and yeah I put on 10 lbs. I am hoping after a few days back on the regular diet those lb’s will drop off. Other than that I started the first phase of my new workout routine. I will input the details later tonight or tomorrow. It feels good to go heavy again, it’s been a while since I’ve lifted solely for strength.

So I am in Charlotte for some rest and relaxation for a few days. I was happy to know that the hotel had a fitness center. Except when I went to look at it there is a treadmill and nothing else. I guess I will get some cardio in this weekend. Maybe tomorrow I’ll go look for a gym so I can throw some weight.

I don’t know what was up with me, but I think I’ve finally got my motivation back to work out. For the next couple of weeks I am going to focus a good number of my workouts on back and chest development. Also, eating as much unprocessed food as possible and detox my body. Diet is always a hard part for me to watch now, mainly eating 5-6 times a day. I also have to watch more closely what I eat than I did in the past when I was running track because I’m not burning the calories, because I’m not on the track as much and I have a job instead of a few classes. I think I am going to have to get a workout partner to keep me on track and vice versa, but it’s hard because of my work schedule. Although sometimes I think I don’t need one, but I know I would have better gains if I had someone yelling at me to pump out 2 more reps when I’m ready to stop. But I am off to the gym before I sit here and don’t feel like moving.

I have not worked out in about two weeks and I feel terrible. I was sick for the last week and a half. Normally, I will just go ahead and go and just do cardio or a few circuits but I thought it best to just rest and let my immune system take care of it. Now that I am feeling better, I feel heavy and soft. I will have to get back to it Saturday, maybe tomorrow if my gym is open for a bit.
