6 weeks out

I had 6 weeks left as of February 9.  Everything has gone very well so far.  I’ve been working 2 body parts a day since February 4th.  I’ve been training Legs & Shoulders, Chest & Triceps, Back & Biceps.  I’ll probably continue to train with this split until 3 weeks out, at which time I’ll train a single body part each day. 

My diet has been working good, but it is time to buckle down.  I will be more conscious of my serving sizes.  I will begin to cut out my fruit and replace it with veggies.  I will make these changes slowly, so I can see how my bady reacts.  I don’t have much weight to lose, which makes it a little more tricky.

10 weeks out

I have 10 more weeks until the Michigan Novice Competition.  My training has been good.  My diet has been good as well.  With the combination of clean eating and additional cardio, the fat should continue to melt away!  My weight this morning was 117.5, and I’m guessing my body fat to be between 14-15%.  My biggest concern is that I don’t drop too much weight too quickly.  I should be able to prohibit that from happening by increasing my intake of complex carbs earlier in the day.  I certainly can’t complain about that!
