First day with pro trainer went great!

Working with a pro trainer exceeded my expectatons.  I worked back and chest and really pushed myself, I know that tomorrow I’m going to be sore. I can understand the importance of having a trainer.  It was one of the best quality workouts that I have done to date and a trainer can provide information that I really can’t get out of a book. My trainer taught me about good form, effective repetitions, and even breathing correctly.  He also told me that I was overdoing it. (Like I haven’t heard that before) but this time I’m going to listen. He cut my cardio down to 3 days each week and that is reasonable.

Life in general is going pretty good.  The worst part of my day is getting up at 3 am each day for work. I am going to start waking up at 4 am instead of 3 am and do everything I need to do the night before because that extra hour sleep can make a difference.  I am enjoying the unseasonably warm weather here in Pennsylvania.  I can’t remember November being this warm especially 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. My weight is up to 177 and I’ve put some mass on my chest, shoulders and arms.  Size small shirts are too small now and that’s cool.

I am looking forward to my next training session this upcoming week.  My next step is to get in touch with a nutritionist and get my diet to be spot on. I work best when I am on a schedule.- keeps me focused.  I have gone as far as I’m going to go on my own and getting the professional help and advice will get me to the next level.  It can only get better from here.

I whole heartedly wish you a very good luck, I wish I could afford a professional trainer, but after such an economy collaps I can´t. The weather IS un-usually warm here to. Keep us posted and keep up the great work ! !

That’s awesome news, Joe! I find I do much better with more sleep as well, though I still feel beat down at times from this 2-a-day workout thing.
