Setback
Got off to a great start last week with the Body For Life program. Last Friday, I came down with really bad sinus and ear infection- tried to do cardio and lift but it just made me feel worse. Sweated like a pig and then puked.
Today feeling only about 60% better but have stuck to my diet throughout the ordeal. Am hungry for the gym again. My day isn’t complete without it. I"m gonna give this a few more days to work its way out and then its back to full throttle.
I have 30 more pounds that I want to drop and then 20 pounds of muscle to put on.
I"m gonna do it.

Sometimes you just have to listen to your body when you’re not feeling well. I hope you’re over your sinus problem by now - I know how bad those can get - and I know you’ll be more motivated when you feel better! Good luck and keep up the great work!

I found out today that about 7 other people at work came down with the same bug. They told me that it usually takes a week to 9 days get over it. Even the lady bodybuilder/ trainer at work was ill with the same bug. She knocked off training for over a week and I will do the same and will not start up again until I"m 100% better.

The body can do a shut down when the mind is doing something else. Perhaps it tells us that rest is important, when we don’t see it.
