Milestone- Lost 30 pounds
This started out as a bad week but turned out great. I missed 3 workouts but got back on track. I stopped taking the protein powder and stayed focused on my diet. Later in the week, I hit the weights hard and did a lot of cardio. I had to cut another hole in my belt. To date, I am down 30 pounds from my starting weight of 270 to my current weight of 240. I have gone from 44 relaxed fit jeans to 40 regular fit jeans. I pressed 495 pounds on the 45 degree incline leg press- a personal best for me and something that I never thought I could do. MY back hasn’t bothered me at all. Hitting the 30 pound weight loss mark gives me the motivation that I need to stay focused and to keep going. Yes it is paying off, but I have to remind myself that it took a long time for me to gain all this weight and it will take time to lose it as well. I will definately get there.

Good boy and great idea getting rid of the protein powder and focusing on a whole food diet instead.

Thanks for your comments and for helping me along in my journey. I still have a way to go but I am getting there. Each day is a victory.
