One of my favorite BBs is Branch Warren, and has been for a while. I personally feel that the guy is awesome!! I was stoked to see him in 2nd place at the Olympia; I think that he definitely deserves it, and more! I will continue to work on myself and see just how close I can come to a physique like that!! My dream.

I am not sure when it was but sometime in the last week, possibly at my chest workout, I seem to have tweaked my shoulder. I feel some soreness at the tip of the clavicle and it is visibly different. There is what looks like a small bony end at the point just before the deltoids that sticks up just barely. From what I have read it is acting like bursitis or impingement. I am icing and doing some exercises for it and hopefully will back at 100% soon. If not I will be going to the doc. This is not my weak damaged shoulder but instead the healthy one.

I have not been too focussed on fat loss, but rather getting that mind/muscle connection again and regularity that I have been missing for so long. I have already cleaned up my diet a lot and now this week starting Monday I will tighten up my diet to give my body what I know it needs to do some final tweaking. I put a goal to get down to 8% bf by June 2010. I will be doing cardio sessions that are separate from my lifting sessions. I am going to add them 3-6 x’s weekly and then go to 2x’s daily for 2-4 wks as I start to see improvements. We will all see if it is working because I will post pics every week from now on.

I have been putting off buying some straps. Yesterday at the gym I borrowed some from a friend. I can’t believe the difference that it made in my back workout. I was getting frustrated with my grip going out with the dead lifts. I need to get some straps before the next heavy back day.

Last night I met with a new friend, who has been competing for years. We were able to isolate the type of exercises that will correct my symmetry issues and I am feeling much better about the results that I can expect now. I also made some discoveries that will open up my training for new heights. I am stoked!!!

The gym I go to just go some new equipment; an assisted dip/pull-up is one of them. Along with some squat, hack squat etc… I am stoked to use the assisted with pull-ups. I did last night and discovered that I needed more assistance than what I thought I would. I am excited about using the machine to graduate to weighted eventually. Things are good.

Yesterday I was spot on!! I had a great leg day and this morning back and bis. All signs of weakness are gone. I killed my legs and finished off with 850lbs on leg press. This morning I pumped out 8×95 preacher curls with the ez-bar. I had to use negatives and my training partner assisted on the last few. I am back!!!!

I went to the gym and did chest and tris…. I had a long weekend and man was I feeling weak. I am going to double up on the protein intake this week and make some changes to my routine to see if I can shake things up a bit. I am getting some more gains… Just got to keep on kickin it hard, it’l cave.

I have been trying to tighten up and identify weaknesses as I go. Not too worried about cutting just yet. I am dropping fat anyway but I have been more concerned with making some gains and building back my size and strength without bothering my injuries. I have done ok so far but I have a long way to go. Lately I have really been making strides with my training and now my diet is coming into focus. I want to maintain about the same weight and slowly unveil my freakish monster within that has been smothered by blubber for way too long. I’m comin at ya!!!
