Wednesday is always my day off..in the middle of the week. But recently I have felt the need to amp up my cardio output to get/keep the bad weight off. Yesterday though I kicked my butt. It was my day off but I tried a little HIIT. I went for a 2.3 mile run. The first three minutes was a slow warm up pace, then I would sprint for 30 seconds and then jog for 2 minutes. It really kicked my ace. It took me 22 minutes to finish the whole distance, which is slow for me. I can usually finsh a three mile run in about 23 minutes. This particular route has a big dip and hill so I am hoping that is what is slowing me down.
Anyways, today is gym day!!!!!!!!

I had a great day yesterday in the gym, as I started week 7 and began with the addition of the smith machine in my workout. It was great. I am definitely more tired and sore today than after last weeks workouts. I guess that means its working. However I am having one problem, and it makes me wonder. Its not terrible but its not my goal. Over the last 7 weeks I have gained weight. Its not bad weight so I don’t know what to think. My goal is to lose fat/weight. I am going to amp up my cardio. I decided to do cardion on Sunday, Saturday, and Wednesday…my days off and monday and thursday, the days I don’t do legs. Is 5 days a week too much? I’m wondering.

You know I find it a litle disturbing htat I have a bad rep. Simply because I put up a post about my own personall beliefs. I did not insult or attack anyone. I am not like that. But still, just because someone else doesn’t like my opinion I get a bad rep?? Hey friends ya’ll need to help me out. And everyone needs to realize we are all adults here. Don’t do something so childish like give someone a hit simply because you disagree with them.

Saturday and SUnday are my days off. The weather here in FLorida is so nice right now. I plan on going to the beach on Saturday and Sunday. Isn’t it amazing how working out affects your mood. ALso, how it makes you wnat to go to places liek the beach, where you can show off your hard work. Anyways, I am glad that summer is near and the beach is looking more inviting.

I had a great day in the gym today. I needed it. Tuesday really sucked for me and Wednesday is my off day, so I needed a good comeback. I really want to shrink the waistline, though. I seem to be adding weight, but its not bad weight. I’m at 197lbs and I ideally want to be around 185 with the same muscle mass and lower bodyfat. Cardio!!!!

Today was a day off for me. I feel good and I took my vitamins. I may go for a quick run or something. I want to drop some weight so my cardio needs a good talking to.

Today was an offday in the gm for me. I could not focus at all, and I was losing motivation with every rep. The only thing I can account for is that I did not use NO Xplode today and I usually do. I feel good that I finished and did not quit, I guess bad days just happen.

My weight over the past 5 weeks has been steady. I’m not sure if that is a good thing though. I am not trying to bulk up. I want to actually lose fat, and I know the best way to do that is adding muscle. I cardio’d my way down to 190 pounds and since I reached that weight I started lifting again. I have climbed back up to 196, but my waist has stayed the same size. Should I take all this as a good sign a bad sign, or no sign? I feel like I am making progress, but maybe I’m not exactl making the progress that I want to. Advice?

Thank you to all for your insight to my thinking. I would never give up my rest periods. I hope I did not mislead you, LOL. However I do wish sometimes I could feel and look like I do when I am in the gym, all the time. Keep training hard!
