Yummm Eating

So i have a hard time when it comes to my Diet, Yes i know is something that i really need to work xtra harnd on it, I had made changes in the past few months, did i get results? NAHHH !!! Why? simple, I love eating at night, that is my HUGE problem i work evenings after work at 11pm i go straight to the gym and work  my but off for a few hours then i go home and eat, so lately i had been eating fruits and Vegetables and of course i have to add chesse or penut butter( the crunchi one ) and i dont eat a small amount i have to have a feast lots of fruit, lots of vegies and yes you guess it LOTS OF CHESSE and have i lost weight? I went from 170 to 190 yes i had put up some muscle weight and i can see it but i can see any progress in my abs i do very little cardio but i do jump ropes and at work is up and down the stairs and on the move at all times. I was thinking what if i just stop eating and settle for a Protein shake before bed time? Any ideas ,opinions, sugestions????

Sounds like you already know what to do. Get urself a protein shake after you lift, before bed! One of the beautiful things about protein is that it fills you up, so your hunger at night will diminish.

Yeah, I would say definitely lay off the cheese. If you want to keep adding muscle, but lose the fat you need to try and avoid carbs and fats, not necessarily all day long, but at bedtime for sure.

If it was me (and I’ve been there) I would stick to primarily protein before bed. Have a shake right after working out which can and should include 60-80g of carbs and then a good protein centered meal an hour later.

Just my 2 cents, but give it a try for a few weeks and see if you don’t start getting some better definition.

I’m soooo feeling your pain on the eating right consistantly thing. I am alone most of the time and when I ‘m with people they usually eat wrong. I do pretty good but want very much to up my discipline level for abs sake! =) I do a protien shake before bed if I’ve had little to eat that day and worked out good @ the gym. I wake up feeling more alive. It gives my body the right substanance for the night time. Thanks for the rating, by the way.

I agree. Protein before bed is important. And feeling satisfied is paramount.
