Another injury has set me back yet another year from competing. After my last competition in August 2006, losing a close overall decision, I decided to hit the weights hard and strong. Not too smart. Instead of letting my body adjust after all the depleting, I jumped right back into it and injured my shoulder, AGAIN. After suffering from past shoulder surgeries, I decided to take it slow and do some rehab vice getting a scope. Patient is something I lack, especially when it comes to slowing down progress in training. I’m taking advantage and focusing more on my legs and other areas, but my chest and shoulders are suffering the most.

I’ll continue on the road to recovery and wish everyone that is competing this year the best of luck. Hopefully I will see a few of you next year on stage.
