TGIF!!
Had to do a lot of pep talking to get to the gym today. I kept wavering between going to the gym and going to the mall. I managed to get focused though and went to the gym. Workout was pretty good, I wish I had longer than 40 minutes to work out though. I need to figure out a new schedule that has me working out more during the day. Even if it’s just adding in more cardio. I need to do something.
Food today has been - eh, not great. Right now I’m drinking down my bcaa’s and then will have a protein shake. I have two apples for the rest of the afternoon but I’m a little worried it won’t be enough to fill me up. I may hit up the vending machine. At least there I’m good about getting pretzels over all the other crap that’s in there. Even though I WANT all the other crap that’s in there. I need to pull out my Eat Clean cookbook and get some meals for next week ready this weekend. I’ve been terrible about planning meals for dinner. My husband has basically been managing it and I feel bad about that.
I think I’ve just been in a slump when it comes to food. I used to love cooking all the time but I don’t know what happened. I just hit a wall or something. Time to have that wall removed.
Today’s workout:
Warm up on elliptical - 5 minutes
deadlifts - 95lbs, 40 reps
decline db bench - 20lbs, 40 reps
lat pulldown - 110lbs, 30 reps
walkout - 30 reps
Elliptical - 5 minutes as fast as I could manage. Okay, okay. Close to as fast as I could manage.
