Defining my goals

Feeling good, considering it’s a Monday. I have to remind myself how blessed I am to have a job when so many people don’t,  so I will refrain from complaining. Got in a good workout. I’m not sure about this workout, simply because it only consists of a few exercises. I feel compelled to add in more exercises for different body parts but I’ll trust the plan and stick to it.
Front Squat - 45lbs, 20 reps (I struggle with going heavier because I don’t have squat rack I can use to load up the bar and get it into position. So with moves like these, I just up the tempo with hopes that I’m compensating)
Lat Pulldown Reverse Grip - 120 lbs, 20 reps
Dumbbell Bench Press - 25’s, 20 reps
Decline Crunches - 30 reps
I’m using two new supplements today. Beverly International Muscle Provider and Glutamine Select. I’ve never used this line before but figured I’d give it a shot. I have the Muscle Provider in Chocolate, pretty good. I’m drinking the Glutamine right now. Not digging the berry flavor but I suppose I’ll get used to it. I hate most fruity-flavored drinks so I have to choke this down. Oh well.
I’m not going to follow the velocity diet, it’s just too hard with my lifestyle. Not making excuses, just accepting that it’s not a program that suits me right now. I am going to decrease carbs and focus on protein and fat for right now. I would like to trim off some weight so that’ll be my focus for a bit. Then I’ll start building mass. I’d really like to see what muscle I have so I need to shed this layer of fat.

Great attitude. I have to remind myself from time to time how blessed I am. There’s always someone else going thru a rougher time of it.

    Keep chargeing. :D
