Going Camping

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

I’m headed to the great outdoors this weekend.  It’s going to cost me two workouts, one with weights and one with cardio but not really.  I’ll be kayaking, swimming, playing ultimate frisbee, bike riding, and running.

All in all, I’ll probably end up getting more exercise than if I’d just stayed home and sat on my big fat A$$.

It’s been great getting into all this exercise; I’m having such a blast!  It even inspired me to go out and get my bike all fixed up and to install a few new items like front and rear lights and a trip tick computer to tell me how far I’ve gone and at what speed and in how much time.  AWESOME!!!

I’m looking forward to logging some serious miles this weekend, both in the water AND on land!

Later!

I love my workouts!

Saturday, June 14th, 2008

I don’t know how you can feel this good.  I’m serious, it seems that every day that I continue I feel better and better.  I’ve stripped off 14lbs of fat and am now down to 232.5.  I’ve not seen the low 230’s for over two years; I just can’t believe the difference.

My energy is shootin through the roof and I’m not even needing as much sleep.  And when I do sleep I sleep all night long.

 Awesome!

Another Long Night

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

It was hard to workout tonight.  I just didn’t feel like going downstairs and lifting weights but I did it anyways.

I feel good now but I sure am tired.  It’s almost one o’clock in the morning again and I gotta be up by 6:30 to get to work on time.  ARGGGGh!

I’ve got a cardio day tomorrow, so that will be kinda like a break.  My good buddy James is going to run with me around the reservoir in my home town.  It should be fun AND challenging, because he’s in better condition than I am when it comes to cardio.  I’m looking forward to it though!

Next week will be a fun week; I’m going kayaking! OH Yeah!  Now that’s exercise I can enjoy!

Cardio

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

I’m impressed, my stamina and endurance are going straight through the roof.  I used to hate cardio, now I love it.  It is such a good feeling to be totally exhausted.

And man do I sleep good.  I haven’t had good sleep like this for months, maybe years!  It’s incredible what good body maintenence will do for you’re overall well being.

I love it!

Ouch!

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

The past couple of day have been grueling.  I’m sore all over but loving every minute of it.  Last night I ran two miles in a row for the first time in my life and although for you runners out there that seems pretty pathetic but I’m excited.  I’m always looking to expand and get better.

The weight training is coming along niceley, like I said I’m sore but I feel fantastic.  My nutrition is keeping pace with my workouts and making sure that I’m on the right track so I’m stoked about that too!

Thanks for all the comments and private messages from people encouraging me.  It’s a terrific form of motivation to know that others out there have a real desire to see you succeed and see you progress.

 Later Everyone!

No Excuses

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I had a busy day and a busy night.  It’s two o’clock in the morning and I just finished my cardio.  I refused to go to sleep until I finished my workout.  Mostly I knew that I’d be letting down all the people I’ve been talking to on bodyspace if I didn’t follow through with my program.  So thanks all you guys who have been supporting me because you’re the reason I stuck with it tonight.

Peace Guys

Getting Started

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

I started my first of three 12-week workout plans on June 2nd 2008.  I want to get down to 10% bodyfat or less.  I’m gonna make it because I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I know its a big goal but I have nine months to hit it hard and actually longer than that, but nine months is my long term goal.

Gotta go but I’ll keep you posted.
