These last few weeks of plateau after plateau have been grueling. Working out hard and eating clean just didn’t seem like enough but in the end it has all been worth it.
I’m finally down by 30lbs and it’s a new feeling to be heading for a loss of 40lbs instead of 30. I have a new goal now and once again I’ve raised the bar for myself. I know I still have a long way to go but it’s just so exciting to see all the hard work paying off.
For all the people that took the time to write comments of suggestions. I am completely grateful. I’ve needed that support along the way and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone back and reread what someone had to say. Little encouragements are such blessings when you feel stuck in a rut, so once again Thanks!
I’ll be getting updated photos soon…
Later!

I’m within 2-3 lbs of reaching 216; which would put me down 30lbs! This is so amazing. Today or tomorrow I’m going to finally break through that ellusive barrier and be on my way to losing 40lbs.
This has been such a great experience. I feel awesome, I’m noticing changes in the way I look and act. I’m so grateful to be here, this close, almost touching one of my first big milestones. All the hard work is finally paying off! Now to get some new pictures up on body space so that you all can see.
Later guys,

I had a couple of rough days this last week and I truly had to do some soul searching. I’m so glad that I stuck to my diet all but one day. I must have been getting run down or something, even mentally. The storm must be over though because after yesterday’s rest day I feel terrific.
I got some good sleep, I took a day off from the weights and went swimming and generally I just relaxed. I’ve tightened up my diet some more and I’m looking forward again. In all honesty I just feel relieved!

Last night I thought about giving up on my diet. I did some really stupid stuff and started eating crappy foods and I don’t even know why. I’m at my lowest weight in nearly 4 years and I lost faith, why? I don’t get it!
Why do people sometimes self sabatoge? I don’t know the answer or I’d be the richest man in the world, but I do know that I’ve got to keep going!
So I’m back on track and I took the time last night to make a plan for myself again. The truth is I am committed to a healthy lifestyle. I will do whatever it takes to succeed!

I’m down 20.5 pounds today. It’s great to be over the 20lb barrier; now to work on the 30lb hurdle!
I feel so much better each week that I can hardly believe it. I’m now like seven or eight weeks into my first 12 week program and I’m anxious to see where I can go after this. This is exciting stuff for me. I’ve never lost over 20 straight pounds in my life woo hoo!

Over the past six weeks I’ve managed to lose 17lbs of Bodyweight. I’ve gone from 246.5lbs to 229.5lbs and I’m loving it!
On top of that I’m constantly making gains when it comes to strength and endurance. I’ve still got a long way to go to get to my ultimate goal of 155lbs but I will get there. I’m not giving up until I do and I’ve already promised myself that, "never will I ever be fat again!"
I hope to have up some new progress pictures sometime this week so that you may all see how I’m doing. I’ll write more later but now I gotta go! Later!

I’m headed to the great outdoors this weekend. It’s going to cost me two workouts, one with weights and one with cardio but not really. I’ll be kayaking, swimming, playing ultimate frisbee, bike riding, and running.
All in all, I’ll probably end up getting more exercise than if I’d just stayed home and sat on my big fat A$$.
It’s been great getting into all this exercise; I’m having such a blast! It even inspired me to go out and get my bike all fixed up and to install a few new items like front and rear lights and a trip tick computer to tell me how far I’ve gone and at what speed and in how much time. AWESOME!!!
I’m looking forward to logging some serious miles this weekend, both in the water AND on land!

I don’t know how you can feel this good. I’m serious, it seems that every day that I continue I feel better and better. I’ve stripped off 14lbs of fat and am now down to 232.5. I’ve not seen the low 230’s for over two years; I just can’t believe the difference.
My energy is shootin through the roof and I’m not even needing as much sleep. And when I do sleep I sleep all night long.
Awesome!

It was hard to workout tonight. I just didn’t feel like going downstairs and lifting weights but I did it anyways.
I feel good now but I sure am tired. It’s almost one o’clock in the morning again and I gotta be up by 6:30 to get to work on time. ARGGGGh!
I’ve got a cardio day tomorrow, so that will be kinda like a break. My good buddy James is going to run with me around the reservoir in my home town. It should be fun AND challenging, because he’s in better condition than I am when it comes to cardio. I’m looking forward to it though!
Next week will be a fun week; I’m going kayaking! OH Yeah! Now that’s exercise I can enjoy!

I’m impressed, my stamina and endurance are going straight through the roof. I used to hate cardio, now I love it. It is such a good feeling to be totally exhausted.
And man do I sleep good. I haven’t had good sleep like this for months, maybe years! It’s incredible what good body maintenence will do for you’re overall well being.
I love it!
