I have reactive hypoglycemia. Whenever I eat carbs my pancreas sends a large influx of insulin into my system dropping my blood sugar. This causes me to become really lethargic. When i worked in a clinical lab I did my own Glucose tolerance test over an 8 hour period and monitored the drop in my blood sugar level after having a 6 ounce glass of orange juice. I control it by avoiding carbs, eating 6-7 small meals each day and taking vitamin B complex helps a lot.
