I will not go back to my old ways

I found myself reaching in my students candy jar today twice 2  of those fat tootise rolls.   reason I didnt pack my blueberries and protienbar i usually eat for a snack.Reason I am trying to drop 4lbs and I thought if ididnt eat I would be ok. Now this is what got me in trouble in the first place.  I should know that starvation is not going to help me drop these 4lbs.  Eating candy isnt going to help either.  I had to come here to write a mental not for myself so i dont go back to my old ways.  Tonight I will pack my protienbar and blueberries for my snack so I can have nutrious snacks to eat at work.  I didnt make it to the gym today because my TOM I was just feeling tired and my abs and shoulders are still sore from last week. I had my Xtend today and I will get some rest and get back on it Tuesday Back and Biceps and  40 mins of cardio. 

If anyone is reading this please leave me some advice on how I can drop my bodyfat percentage im loosing the weight and I am no longer content with just reaching that goal because I still feel fat!

Ughhhhh PMS and here come the strange food cravings

Doing so well then today Im wondering why Im having food cravings cheetoes and chocolate and honey and cheese. PMS dammit.  I went to whole foods today and I picked up a bag of rice cheese puffs all organic and instead of going to mc donalds and drinking a chocolate shake I made a protien milk shake with  1/2 cup soy ice cream 1 scoop of natural protein and reduced sugar soy milk.   The bag of cheese puffs i purchased was a smart choice if you understand PORTION CONTROL. Same thing with those container of nuts I told myself today I will not buy them anymore because I can eat an entire can in one day and I know that is not how that is supposed to work.   I love almonds but I have learn how to control my portoins when it comes to things like ths  I want to finish off the 6 serving bag right now to satisfy my cheese craving but i guess I better not. So i guess today was a cheat day not too bad considering last year I probably would have just went to Mc Donalds.  I did an hour of cardio today also 515 calories burned.   Damm PMS grrrrrr

Setting new goals

I never thought when I started I would ever reach my goal of 145 lbs  and wearing a size 4. I finally treated myself to new pants I needed them my old ones were falling off.   Body is starting to tone and firm.  Its feels wonderful and now I have to set new goals for myself.  Time to get down to 140 drop more body fat  and then pack on the muscle.   Diet is better I know i need to find a way to get more protien in my diet with school starting its been tough but I will get that together.   I have my deep dark secret I want to do at least one competion.   I finally understand that i can not bulk up like a man that was my fear.  Now i have to do some research on when the next local comp is here in my state.   Health and fitness is not big here in Louisiana.   Once i complete my first competion I know I will be on my way to greatness.

Home from Camping time to get back to work

Had a good time in Tahoe didnt fall off my diet too much because we had propane stove and we  cooked I did indulge in cheese nuts and blueberries egg white spincah flax seek crackers  and we had smores on ricecakes and dark chocolate. We also had a few glasses of red wine    We did alot of hiking and my legs are sore but I got my exersice and stayed active the entire five days.  I got on the scale and I didint gain any weight so all good.

No gym today I am still jet lagged and I need to rest my sore legs ouch but will get back at it Sunday!

Leaving for Lake Tahoe

SO excited leaving for Lake Tahoe Sunday moring going camping. I mean sleeping bag tents campfire and hiking for 5 days.   I am looking forward to roughing it!!!!!!  Will stay on my diet packed me some protein powder and my xtend (drink while hiking) We packed alot of almonds veggies fruits and other healty stuff.   I need this time to just chill and get away I think my body is going to like this.  Im really looking foward to wearing shorts I went and purchased some shorts and I actually look ok in them espcially since my legs are leaning out!!! Wish me luck comming back refreshed and ready to kick it up!!!

Ok so today is my birthday and I am doing things diffferent this year.  The old me chocolate martinis during happy hour spincah and aritchoke dip, and cheesecake.  One year later after starting my fitness journey I decided to go a different route.  The new me decided to treat myself.   I went to whole foods and I got gluten free dairy free low sugar low fat  soy vanilla icecream. I got a single serving 1/2 cup so I will know what I am eating and I decided to get a small gluten free chocolate brownie  I havent had sweets since lord know when.   Dinner is  salad and high protein meatless pulled barbque pork.  No martinis this year I didnt realize how much sugar those things had!!!  I am finally down to my goal weight of 145 and I am now going for 140.   And my body fat has dropped to 17% my trainer says 16% but I like 17%   So now I want to get my body fat down to 13%. I  dont want to back track just because its my Birthday but I did want to treat myself.    I posted new pics of my legs and I am so proud of myself they are finally starting to take shape.  I think about how I will look a  year from now and it can only get better.    None of my old clothes fit.  My pants are falling off  same pants I wore last year that were tight and fitted. So awesome.    What a good day I lived to see another birthday I am getting healtheir everyday .  I am so glad I decided to do this.   Im just going to keep going until i get there!

 

 

Which Bodyfat reading is accurate ??

I am very confused about my accurate body fat.   The trainer at the gym did the skin fold and he put me at a 17% thats great but my body in my opinion doesnt look tight enough to be 17%

I have this Omrion body fat analyzer at home where you put in your information hold the device in the air and it gives you your percentage  on that machine its a 22  one day 25 the next.  My trainer says there is no way possible my body fat is still in the 20’s which is the most accurate  the skin fold of the device that I hold in the air   Can anyone give their opinon??
