Injury
Just got back from spending 4 hours at the hospital after falling on my knee and being in severe pain.
Typical of me I slipped on a wet floor and fell straight to my knees, with my left leg going in a direction it should be able to go. So this afternoon I’ve spent several hours in A&E having x-rays and being seen by several doctors. Good news is nothing is broken (thank god) Bad news is I’ve torn a muscle and damage some ligaments.
I’m truly gutted, been training really hard over the past month and really started to see some difference, and I’m not going to be able to train for a while, well at least train my legs, still gonna hit the gym and train upper body so it’s not all bad.
I suppose these things are sent to try us but not going to let it stand in my way and not continue the transformation that I want to get to.
One thing I’ve learnt from seeing so many injuries today at the hospital is that there are a lot of people who are worse off than me through illness and injury, makes me want to train harder to make sure I’m stronger, fitter and healthier to combat what comes at us all.
