IM BACK!!

Guess what?  I’m back!!  I know I haven’t been on for a while and have been slacking a bit since the last time I was here.  But that was the past and this is now and the future is tomorrow.  I’m pumped and ready to make things happen for sure this time.

Today I woke up early to kick off the return of the mad man cycle for the next couple of weeks.  I’m going to be hitting the gym like before but with more passion and conviction.  It was great being at the gym at 5am and not having to worry about waiting or any other distractions that are there later during the day.  Same program as always but with a little more intensity and a lot more commitment.  I feel that I stopped performing as I know I could have because of my mindset, but now I have a clearly defines goal and I’m gonna hit it.
I have a lot of catching up to do, fortunately for me, I didn’t let myself completely go and still worked out.  Watch out for me in the next couple of weeks and watch the pounds just melt off!

New Routine and Round 2 Summer Cutting

The month is about to end and it looks like I’m not going to hit my goal just quite.  But thats ok because I’m still making great progress and I’m getting more definition and seeing muscles that I didnt know I had.  Im pretty excited because I’m changing my routine and doing more supersets to get better definition and tone out.  Im also still deciding on either bumping up my cardio to 60mins or keep it at 40 mins.  I guess I will have to take it day by day.  Summer is just around the corner and it hit me when I went to Vegas, so I have to work even harder and today was the last day I’ll eat a cheat meal for a while till I hit my goal.  I figured, it would help me become more discipline and my progress would be faster.  I WILL NOT MISS MY GOAL AGAIN! .. this is the last straw and I cant let myself down any longer.

Second cycle of Animal Cuts, so far so good.  I has given me great results with cutting bodyfat, and I highly recommend it unless you dont like to take lots of pills.  Other than that supplement, just the usual .. whey protien, vitamins, etc.   Round two for the cutting and I will dominate this time!  Wish me luck

Finishing up April

I got one more week till the end of april, and then my deadline is just only 30 days away and I guess this is where it counts the most.  I got to fight harder than even to achieve my goals for may.  Everything seems to be going as schedule and im loosing fat and keeping as much muscles possible.  But when I jump on the scale, it can be deceiving because it says im almost at the same weight as last week.  I know weight is just a number and I should look in the mirror to see the results and thats wat’s keeping me going.

Since a week or two ago, I’ve changed up my training a little and focus on lower reps and more weight just to build up more strenght.  Cardio has been the same as always .. 20-30mins .. other than that, everything is good to go!  Im also finishing up my bottle of Lipo-6, I have about a 2 day supply and then a 1 week rest from thermogenic so my body can recover.  Im going to try animal cuts and cycle that accordingly because I’ve heard great things about it so im pretty excited about that.  Hopefully it will help me shed those last bit of fat and be ready for summer.

Time to hit the gym soon and get some good sweat going and prolly hit the sauna to relax for a bit.  I guess ill be posting more progress during May and as long as I do wat I need to do, then Ill be even leaner!

Last Week

April 2, 2007

Last week came and went too quickly!  I got really sick with something and was forced to not hit the gym at all because I had a cold, and my foot started hurting again.  It was just not the best week for me .. imagine, laying in bed caughing like a mad man with a runny nose, fever and a hurt foot.  It was something I rather not go through again if it could be helped.  But I took my medicine and got plenty of rest and water and now im all better!

I was soo excited to hit the gym up again today and get a great pump!  Now is another chapter in my work out and will be changing up my routine next week.  Although i was close to my March 31th goal of being 185lbs, I was only 5lbs short but the results I’ve seen so far still keeps me going!  Now to finish off my cutting phase … 175-170lbs with 12% bodyfat by end of May!  Im totally ready for summer vacation and cant wait to go on a cruise and everything that Ive got planned!

Ill keep ya’ll posted on my progress but now from lifting heavy with high reps, imma switch to really heavy and medium to low reps so I can get more definition and muscle build!  Then I’ll be ready for summer!  Wish me luck!

HIIT

March 21, 2007

Today was the first day I actually tried HIIT on the elliptical.  It was great and got my heart rate up pretty quickly.  I basically started with a 5 min. warm up at an incline of 10 and a resistance of 6 and increased my speed every 30 sec. and then come back down.

It was a little weird because I dont see a lot of people doing that kind of training at all in my gym.  But I guess ill set the standards and show them the results when I’m done with my cut.  Wish me luck and we will see the results soon enough!

Fun Day

March 11, 2007

Today was the first official day that I have been to the beach since the beginning of my cut.  It was fun, I felt more confident with being there and just having fun.  Im so excited to go back again because I know that when I do go back, I will be even more leaner than I was today!  I just gotta stick to it and keep doing what I’m doing and I will be good to go in a couple of weeks.
