So yesterday was the first time since the end of my challenge(3/7/08) that I got my body fat measured. Surprisingly I was down 1.09% even after taking 3 weeks off for recovery…. That is soooo awesome, I finally feel like myself again by being able to work out and eat right and lose:) So I have complete confidence in my goal to lose 5lbs by the time I go to Chicago next month… My legs have been killin me since my workout on Tuesday which is good but yesterday I did back, biceps, and abs and yeah nothin so more ab work next time for sure. Today will be the arc trainer for 35 mins….
Food has been great, calories have been avg 1500 and ratio’s have been pretty good as well. I am down 1lb for the week so that is where I want to be. Have a great weekend!

Yep I am so sore from Sunday’s workout, it is friggen awesome:) So instead of doing pull today I tried to do legs. And I do mean tried after my 2nd set of squats my hams started to cramp up something serious only got out 1 set of lunges and 3 sissy sets of deadlifts. So I got on the tread kicked up the incline and walked for a good 20 minutes. I also walked 20 mins at lunch today so a good 40 mins of low intensity cardio today:) It feels so good to get back into it and to feel some pain is great! I need to keep it up cuz I want to be 150 by June 12 for my trip to Chicago woo hoo…..
Food has been good even tho others are trying to sabotage me! Chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies and ice cream but I am on a mission. I am really liking the Nutrimirror website to track my food and exercise even tho the exercise portion doesn’t even come close to what it should for someone lifting weights. But for people just trying to start it is great! And it balances out your calories including your workouts so you have a better idea of what you should be eating compared to what you are burning.

Ok so today was my first day back to being able to lift. I should have started a little lighter on the weight because I had a hard time washing my hair in the shower lol:) I hope to be super sore tomorrow!…. I have never had 3 weeks off before so this should be interesting. I am switching my workouts to a 3 day split and it will be push/pull/legs and 3 days of cardio. Today was push and I did chest/shoulders/triceps… 3 sets of 12.
Food was fairly healthy and I found this new site called Nutrimirror for tracking everything. It is actually pretty cool and I think I am going to like it better than fitday. Low on protein today but tomorrow will be back on track.

So I had a small outpatient procedure yesterday and the good news is that I only need to be off from lifting for about a week rather than 3-4 and the Doc is letting me do cardio in about 3 days or whenever I think my body is ready. This is such good news, I would have went nuts not working out for 3-4 weeks. So I really need to take this break time and figure out some goals and get ready to get super seriuos….. Man I need to find another competitor for a challenge, that keeps me on track the most…..

Yes I have been gone for a while but I have still been doing what I do. I am eating clean the majority of the time with the exception of a few extra cheats here and there. I am also still going at it with the workouts except I had to take a couple of days off last week trying to shake off the cold that was irritating me. Problem is I have not been serious enough to lose any weight and have just been maintaining since the end of my challenge. So here I am to try and stay on track for the next couple of weeks until I am out of commission for 3-4 weeks. I have also had a bunch of personal crap going on but I am trying to use the workouts as a way to clear the mind and relieve some stress arrggghhhh lol.. Maybe it would help if I started to eat 2 bagles a day, I might lose an extra pound or two he he…….
Anyways yesterday I did 35 mins on the Arc trainer and today I will be switching up my back workout and doing it here at work on the machines. I want to hit the pulldown machine, reverse flyes, back row and the back extension… and then I will do some form of SS cardio for 20-30 mins….

Alright I took a week off sort of, I only worked out 3 times and boy can I tell. I didn’t really eat all that healthy either yikes!!! I gained 3lbs which isn’t too bad but I feel jiggly,,,, yuck…… So today is the day to clean up my act because I only have about a month and then I have to take up to 4 weeks off due to some stinken procedure I have to have done…… So I have to work super hard until then and then I am not sure how I am going to make it through….. So today I did 35 mins of cardio on the Arc Trainer and it felt great to get back on there. So I will go back to my workout that I was doing before the break and just stick with that for now.

Yes that is right I am a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lost 2.27% over the last 5 weeks and 3.44% total over the 3 month challenge!!!! I beat my comptetitor wooo hooooo…. I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways he he I am taking the next 3 or 4 days off and then I need to come up with a plan to get to 15% by aug 1…….. Suggestions welcome:) Thanks Jules and Rae for your help and everyone else that commented and showed your support, it is much appreciated……. Have a great weekend…..

I am kinda sad that my challenge is over:( What am I going to do now? I have had so much fun the last 3 months giving my competitor crap lol and now I am going to be bored. Well I will just have to come up with something……….. So tomorrow is the pinch, lets hope that my hard work has paid off…

Food well lets just say it wasn’t what it should have been for the last day before a weigh in. My friend was in town and I went out for lunch and dinner. I did eat healthy except for the glass of wine. It is what it is I had a lot of ground to make up over the last month to make up for the first 2….. Ahhh it is soo bittersweet;)

Yep I did I changed a bunch of stuff and I don’t know what worked lol but I am loving it. Until I hit a brick wall again and change stuff again because I am frustrated. So here is the list of variables lol.
Stopped eating eggs, changed ratios from 40/40/20 to 40/30/30 ish., Triset and superset workouts, added cardio - went from 3-20mins to approx 4-35 min, The doc told me it was my fault I was fat and to clean up my food act, and last but not least I had a mental change I am not sure how or why, probably the Doc but I am more determined and more positive. I was in such a funk for the last year and a half and I finally feel like I may be back in control…. We will see but I am pretty damn excited right now:) So with all that I have no idea if it was one thing or all of them that has kick started my progress all I know is I am not going to change much…….
Today was cardio so I went to spin class and told the instructor to kick my ass I needed it and I apologized to everyone for the request. The instructor did a good job and I got yelled at when it was over by my co-riders:)
