Joe,

So sorry about this, I hope it get better! I've threw my back out serval times in my life. When I would try to stand upward, I felt like a old man who need a walker to get around.

But I would get that checked out before you go to the weight room. You could irratite it even further and then you could be out for a while!

I very careful with my back these days but it is getting much better!

Just the thoughts and concerns of a man who has severe back problems.

I hate when that happens. I work out 6 days a week and at work I just twist to grab a wrench on the end of my toolbox and my lower right back hurts like hell. I cant twist my back at all for a week. I just take ibprofin for it. It helps but its not perfect.

I've had lower back issues all my life. All it takes is a sneeze to throw mine out of wack. Things of note...don't lay, sit or stand for too long. Try to keep the muscles from stiffening. See if the doc will call you in a muscle relaxer. And get a few Thermacare packs...they do help a little. Hope you feel better quickly!! Back pain is the worst!

I feel for ya man! I have that same recurring problem due to crushing 2 vertebrae in a car accident in 2001. I've tried everything...chiropractor, pain killers, cortisone shots (which I'd never reccommend because it numbs you to the point where you don't know if you're doing further damage to your back). Finally, my doctor reccommended 2 natural supplements, glucosamine/chondroitine and MSM. These help out quite a bit w/ pain as well as the healing process. I know it's a huge pain in the ass to go through that and I hope you get better soon! Take care man!
