Been a while. . .

Hey everyone. . . It’s been a hot minute since I blogged so here is an update. I went on a vacation to Boston and Niagara Falls and it was some awesome downtime with some sight seeing. Unfortunately, my eating habits and workouts took a vacatino also. I haven’t hit it hard for about 3 weeks now. The second week of my vacation was spent doing yard work and community service but healthy eating habits were back online. This week I am back at healthy eating and hitting the gym renewed and refreshed, rededicated. I’m still so far from where I want to be. I need to tackle old challenges (sleep habits, very occassional stress eating, schedule conflicts and time management). At the end of October I am starting my MA online with Gonzaga university for Organizational Leadership. I am very much looking forward to it but it will certainly add another cog to my time management learning process with a large workload. I have to say as far as goals go, I feel a bit unfocused. I don’t really know my bf %. I want it LOWER but I am not sacrificing lean mass. That being said, I really just want to up the intensity (which isn’t very low to start with). I’m going to be staying in the 10-15 rep range with an average of 45-60 seconds of rest between sets. I am going to start back with 1 major muscle group (16-20 sets per group) a day on a 4 day workout program (I have MUCH yard work that needs to be accomplished!); probably Mon/Tuesday; Thurs/Friday. I am also pledging to up the cardio which is currently almost nonexistent. As much as I hate it, I do feel better after I accomplish some cardio. I would also like to offer an apology to you all that I frequently communicate for falling off the map for a few weeks. After that much time off I feel like somewhat of a dissappointment to myself but it did give me a chance to rest (my weight is actually slightly down, ironically) and refocus. SO, to all of you, happy training!

Your body is probably craving the iron and waiting to explode after 3 weeks. Nice to have you back!
