just finished the book titled "Better than Steroids" and was a pretty decent one. Not sure i’m fully going into bodybuilding (competing on stage) but gleaned a lot from the material it covered: pre and post workout meals, food timing, dieting styles, water!, and others– fully recommend it to anyone!
Workouts have been going strong. Makin big gains in weight recently and i’m in the 5th week of creatine! cycling time is coming (this is the first time i’ve taken it, little eery about going off)!

after having a little cold- i figured out i had some decent allergies and took it easy— i skipped out on my leg workout and took an easier Chest day— after the 2 day weekend of no weights– feeling good i hit back, bi’s, traps and was a great workout!

This week back from Texas has been great! have been able to work a bunch and hit the gym even more! things are going well in the gym and moved 225 on the bench 6 times today (after my weeks of sickness i had dropped drastically but now i have made great progress and am even above where i was b4)! Worked out 4 of the past 6 days and have a nice weekend of rest, healing, and GROWING to do!

hurricane/ tropical storm Eduardo.. or whatever the heck its called.. has me stuck here for another day! although its been relaxing:watching movies, spending time with my gf and her family, eating at some DIFFERENT food joints… i wanna get to the gym!! i miss it.
On Saturday, I had a short little workout that consisted on NO weights but was a doozy. I did sprints (about 20-30 yds per sprint), push-ups, burpees, crunches and twists, dips, and calf raises. the workout lasted for about 25-35 minutes and had my legs feeling sore and the rest feeling slightly worked= overall a good vacation workout (considering i was in the woods camping!)
On Sunday, after getting back to the family’s house, had another good workout! did some tricep and chest exercise with the typical, little weight bench that you could buy at your favorite walmart! lol… cheap but worked.. did about six exercises and had a HUGE PUMP! it was just like Arnold said… lol. "day and night"
On Tuesday, today, gonna work the bi’s and possibly my back. Gonna be tough with only a barbell and changeable DB’s but i’ll make it happen…..

Since my last post I have been gettin busy in the gym.. have had 7 or 8 workouts since then and have got some of the gains i had made back. I have for the first time ever.. drum roll…. started taking creatine monohydrate (the first of any creatine) and have made quick gains in size, strength, and endurance (no duhhhh!). Anyway, i am now in texas, and have been since yesterday, in the middle of no where without access to anything that could even be called a weight! soo planning on doing a few pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups to try and do something little….. hopefully this will be my last break from the gym for a long time! COMMENT it… tips and vacation hints would be greatly appreciated!
ps.. got my first Certified Fitness Trainer (CFT) certification this week! yeah!

Thinkin about takin some Creatine Monohydrate… which would be my first time ever!

Spent nine days in Cancun, Mexico with some family and friends and had a great time. The weather was pretty good and being there was awesome. Got home late Tuesday night and packed and got ready for another adventure that was beginning early the next morning… Creationfest 2008! Now Creation is normally a favorite of the year for me, but this year was quite different. After the first night, which started the week off awesome!, i got sick and pretty much beat me up for the rest of the week. On the last nite, I was feeling pretty good until the good ol’ virus came creeping back stronger than ever and sent me to the hospital for 6-7 hours… yeah sooooo after a few days of rest i’m doing a lot better and preparing (in hopes) for the gym tomorrow (a light workout of course). So for my working out over the past 2 weeks… lifted 3 times in Cancun and an obvious 0 while at Creation…. not to worry. Summer is looking pretty clear from here and a lot of weights are coming my way (GOD WILLING)!

School deadlines of papers, essays, and postings have been filling my days (summer courses) BUT my gym time has not suffered! I have been going very hard in the gym and started my new workout series/ cycle this past week. My cousin Mike and I have been making sure to make the gym a priority and have been doing a fair share of Hard Work. The best parts of all the work I have been doing (both school and in the gym) are the results. My grades have been really good and my strength and look in the gym has improved… yayya
