All I’ve got is a 4 letter word "HIIT". Trail mountain biking combined with eating lean and weight lifting has allowed me to lose 8% BF and gain 14 lbs of muscle in 2 months! I am back on track and I am in the best shape of my life at 172.5 lbs with 151.2 lbs of muscle.

I am now getting back into a descent routine after being out of the gym for over a month. Right now I am doing mainly cardio, but still doing some light weights until my back is fully healed. It is frustrating but I don’t want to reinjure myself. I guess this is a price to pay for doing extreme sports and pushing myself to the limits. This is why I want to be fit…so I can put my body through the strain. I am starting to train for a Tri-Athalon that is going to be in August.

First I was sick and out of the gym for about 2 weeks. Then I injured my back snowboarding, and I have been out of the gym for another 2 weeks. Now I am back in the routine and slowly testing my limits making sure I don’t reinjure myself.

Today was my first day back in the gym after over a week of being sick and not going. I really have my work cut out for me to get back to where I was. I can’t believe that being sick and out of the gym for just a little over a week could hurt me so much…

Just got done with my second day of the routine I got out of Dec. issue of Muscle and Fitness call "Prime The Pump". I haven’t felt this way in a while. If this doesn’t help me to build muscle I don’t know what will.

I am getting measured tomorrow. I’ll be starting to do more cardio and a new routine to try and get more cut before it starts to warm up. Surprisingly the holiday break didn’t set me back.

It’s my last week before I go back to my hometown for the Holidays. I’m really kicking my butt in all my workouts this week. Hopfully I can keep it up over break and not eat too much. Come January 3rd or so I will have new pics and updated stats to see if the bulking I did the past couple of months worked…
