I need to work on my footwork. All the huge linemen always get me on that. If any of you have some ideas, feel free to message or leave a comment for me.

This blog posted the same post twice… damn machines…
Anyhow, I’ve never felt more motivated. The only thing I’m worried about is that I might not sleep as well.
Anyone who want’s to feel motivated, watch this: =”UntrustedLink.bootstrap($(this), “593645ffdeabd82720be57737882c7af”, event)” href=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlyOgVFYLXE” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlyOgVFYLXE

As a team, we have started skill work at the various positions. I’ve been seeing gains in my strength and confidence, but I can’t help but wonder if it is too late to do anything to further my football career into college.
I’ll be honest, however, I have been kind of ignoring the all-important squat. Shame on me. I’ll do more in the next few weeks and hopefully I can see some gains there as well.

This is something I truly have to be excited for. It will possibly be the greatest night the UFC has ever had. All the big names are there.
But lets get down to business. I’ll work my way up from the bottom with my predictions:
Main Card:
Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Alan Belcher - The problem with predicting this fight is that both of them are newcomers, however, after some research, I’d put Akiyama on top. His submission skill is great.
Jon Fitch vs. Paulo Thiago - Thiago’s ground game is fantastic, but so is Fitch’s striking. However, I’m going to have to give it to the ground game because that is where most matches are decided. Thiago in the 2nd round (submission).
Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping - FINALLY. As much as I admire Bisping’s skill, I think Henderson is going to carry this one. This is going to be a good fight, and one I could easily be wrong on. Henderson 3rd round (TKO).
GSP vs. Thiago Alves - I hate Georges St-Pierre. I think he’s one of the best fighters I’ve ever seen, but I hate his attitude. Alves is also very good. Both have been working on submission work, so this is going to be interesting. Still, I give it to GSP in the 2nd round (TKO).
Main Bout (Heavyweight Unification Title): Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir - Brock’s my hero. I’m not going to lie. However, Mir is a force to be reckoned with. His ground game is terriffying for someone his size. But Brock is a powerhouse. If you’ve watched his workout, you know he is preparing for this. Brock’s got the heart too, and he wants to be the one and the only, and I don’t think anyone can really stop him but himself. I give this to Brock in the 3rd round (TKO).

So, I’m going to be going off to college soon and I’m looking for a college in a city with a good MMA school. I’d think every major city would have one, so I’ve been looking, but wherever it seems I find a good school, it’s always too far from a good college that I’d like to go to. So I ask you, the reader, for some help. If you can let me know about some good MMA/college cities, I’ll look into them.

So let me tell you a little about my trainer. He is a student trainer at a college in my hometown, and has a thing for Full Throttle Energy Drinks.
He acts like an ass sometimes, but other times he can be pretty cool.
However, he has a penchant for making rediculous training programs. For instance, today’s training session was:
50 bench presses at 75-80% of max
50 chin ups
3 lengths of lunges on about an 80 yard stretch non-stop
100 lat raises (at the weight you used for last session)
30 box jumps in a row
100 clean and presses with a 45 pound plate
Ab routine: Death plank, back bridge, bike twists, elbow side crunches, scissor kicks
1.5 mile run
Now tell me this isn’t rediculous.

Hello, for those of you who are reading this, my name is James Michael Dollman, Jr. I’m currently in high school as a junior, and I am going to be a senior in August. I split my time between working out, playing the guitar, a job, and my xbox 360.
So let me tell you a little bit about how I got into bodybuilding.
My parents weren’t very supportive of me when I was young. They wanted me to "play it safe" and grow up to be average. I was overweight and lazy. Kids, especially two in particular, whom I shall not name, picked on me. I wasn’t a very happy child, and had a very deep-seeded anger. I also tended to shun people as a result. I never really had any friends. Then the one day I hoped for came: graduation. At the reception one of the two kids who picked on me told me that I could never play football. He told me I would play as a 13th string waterboy.
So as a result, I went to football camp that summer, and got a start in football, meeting the coaches, and meeting people who would be my friends through the present day. I met my father away from home: coach Doug Pearson. Coach P., as we called him, and still do, taught me everything I know. When school began I tried out for linebacker/offensive lineman. Linebacker was too hard for me, as I had many people in front of me in the line to get a spot. Plus the training was too brutal for me at the time. So they moved me to the defensive line, where I remain to this day. It was the most fun I’d ever had. I met people and gained many friends.
So fast forward to the present day. Many of those friends are lost; some to grades and some to transfers, and still others to other sports. However, I have never been closer to happiness than I have now.
Just a couple years ago I became interested in the Ultimate Fighting Championchip and Mixed Martial Arts. I bought a punching bag about a year ago and have been practicing ever since. Hopefully someday I will make it big in the UFC, that is, if I don’t play football.
I refuse to let my parents tell me the odds. I will prove them wrong. I will succeed.
