An out of shape nation
As I take my fitness more seriously, I become aware of the people that are out of shape, and the percentage is growing!
I’m not supposed to judge you by your appearance, but still, it amazes me how people let their bodies take the toll of bad eating and nil exercise. And even more with the ladies. I thought women like to take special care of how they look. Then, how come there are so huge a number of out-of-shape ladies in my neighborhood? It’s easier to spend five hours for a hairdo than five hours sweating hard at the gym, right? What’s worse, these out-of-shape ladies come in two "flavors", the too-much-fat or the too-many-bones, no muscle either way. Sigh!
It’s the curse of living in the state of deep fried jelly doughnuts.

As much as I hate to admit it, the stereotype of Americans throughout the world as being fat and lazy seems to be coming true. Whats most sad about all this is not just the physical aspect but more importantly the health aspect, our health care costs go up as our society becomes less active and health conscious as well as the rise of Diabetes at earlier ages and the ferocity of cancers becoming more prevalent. Lifting and a nutrition thoughtful lifestyle is perhaps one of the few things we can control as people, we in a sense have a lot of say in how healthy we are and what diseases we have a chance of preventing just by living a more healthy and active lifestyle.

i agree. how many times have you heard someone talk about how fat they are, but don’t want to do anything about it? the formula is VERY simple. more put out than more put in = smaller. i understand that it’s not easy to rid yourself of that excess weight, but they also didn’t get to where they were overnight. it’s all a slow process. people don’t seem to mind doing what it takes to get large, but then they don’t want to stay consistant and do what it takes to get small. it’s a time weighted process that too many people give up on too early

Hahaha, people usually complain right after an eating binge, when the army of doughnuts and ice-cream have placated the belly, so the mind can turn to more platonic ideals. But easy come, easy go
