Ah, those wonderful "twinges" - I'm having some in my left arm now, which seems to be going away though. One more day of rest and I'll be back at it, too.

I'm sure you'll start making big gains quickly as soon as you get back into the regular workout routine!

I'm working harder on my legs too now (in other words, I'm actually using them during my workout again). Started very light with the squats two days ago and am still feeling it today! Isn't getting older great?

Good luck on your hunt - enjoy your time away from the gym and I'm sure you'll come back ready to hit the weights hard. In fact, you may find that with a long recovery, you'll actually come back bigger and stronger than when you left!

Take care.

Have a great break Jason! Although I'm not a hunter my Father was and he would get rabbits and a moose every fall. He'd share the moose with relatives and we still had plenty for 2 or 3 meals a week all year round. Good stuff!

Hey Jason! How many reps @320 was that? No matter, more than 1 is impressive! You are getting into the heaviest part of the program now, intense sessions to come but I know you can do it! Fewer workouts during hunting and trapping time won't hurt you a bit...after all, you're not sitting on the couch eating chips! I know its hard to rest something to heal an injury...went through it earlier this year with my wrist. Keep strong, you'll come back doing legs stronger than ever.

I'm sure that multiple twelve hour shifts have a lot to do with it. Being on your feet so long is bound to lead to fatigue. A couple of times over the summer I did some heavy lifting and dragging stuff around in the yard in the afternoon and then went to the gym in the evening and boy, did I ever notice a difference! Hopefully a little extra rest will do the trick for you.

Too bad about the tendonitis - but at least you are responding to the bench routine as well as last time, maybe even better? You may be at a muscular 200 lbs before you get your first buck of the season in fact!

Just couldn't resist trying it again, could you? I'm sure this cycle through of the program will work just as well for you as last time!
