deadlifts
Saturday, August 29th, 2009Did a good back workout today. Started with pullups, 3 sets of 8. Next was t-bar rows. Did pulldowns after that. Up to here, I had to keep my palms towaed me to minimize discomfort in my right forearm. The elbow felt fine, just had to be careful of lingering soreness in the forearm. Went to right arm only seated rows. ( lower right lat less developed tha left) Finished back work with deads. Went to 365 x 3 or 4. Elbow was just fine during deadlifting.
Did ez bar curls, hammer curls, and left arm only dumbell drag curls. (left arm smaller than right)
Had some soreness in the elbow tonite, but pretty good now. Forearm is better now too. Removed the brace, and I improve. Wish I would have known this sooner. Hope the improvement continues. Will have to begin cutting wood soon enough. Will be cautious with elbow for a while yet.
The occasional one sided work will continue to try to even out my lousy symetry. Too many years of mostly compound lifts.
